Olympic Beach might be a good place for the elderly (in the off season) or families with young children, but it is definitely not for young adults or groups of friends that want to enjoy the night life. First of all the village is too...More

A long sandy beach with many cafes where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas by ordering a drink. A bit crowded, but it's to be expected. Doughnut vendors, Henna artists, friendship bracelet dudes going along the coast, same as in Paralia. Prices are also the...More

This stretch of coast has a wide variety of beaches, some sandy and some stony. Some are very packed if close to a major town and stony e.g. Leptokaria, others are better, such as this one, which is in front of a camping area, has...More

The beach it self is quit crowded during high-season but when you get in the water you can move freely. You pay for sunbed by ordering food or drink for a minimum of 3,5-4 euro.

This is my 5th time in Greece and I have never seen so dirty sea so far. I don't know whether it depends on weather or what's the problem but I am disappointed. My parents go here regularly in September and they don't complain. The...More

Too crowdy and noisy. The sea was not clean and the sun beds were to near to each other. There were few privat beaches which applied high rates for the sun bed ,for instance one asked to order a drink every 3 hours .

If you want to be quiet and relax on the beach, choose another place. You have to know that this place is full of Serbian families with minimum 2, maximum 5 children. This could not be a problem but their parents sitting on sunbeds and...More

Adler beaches (7 Replies)
Hello I'm looking to visit Adler for 3 nights in June and just wondering if Olympic Beach is the best beach to visit and stay close too. I will have a car so can visit other areas. We're four 30 year old males looking for a swim during the day and a few beers at night. Thanks

Oh. Water is usually about 18C in June. To my mind, it's pretty chilly. I'm not sure, that Olympic beach is really a beach. Many sources refer to it as to an embankment or a promenade, 7 km of a lovely walk. (Or maybe I'm just missing something here.)

Dear All, could anyone help us to find the best place in Turkey? Our preferences: - direct connection to sandy beach - kids friendly accomodation 4* or 5* - not too far from airport app. 1 hour - not a most frequented place (Olympic beach, Halkidiki etc) Thank you for your assistance in advance. Kind regards, Balazs
