Tucked away these gardens were a delight to stroll around. Lakes, fountains, bridges, a labyrinth, Chinese garden and visited by four kookaburras on our walk. Orchid tea house is $2:50 includes a cuppa. Worth a walk around.

Betty the lady on duty delighted us with her knowledge and friendliness. A smallish area crammed wth so many sizes, colours and shapes - a must see at the Gardens.

The gardens are well maintained and very tranquil with lots of shady areas to enjoy the flora. More labelling of species would have been good.

The Botanic Gardens are well worth a visit when you are in Hervey Bay. It is a very pleasant walk around the track and the huge number of turtles which live in the main pond are a real highlight.

The gardens are free to enter, though there is a small fee to see the orchid house but you are given a free cuppa and there are tables and chairs to sit at and relax for a bit. Hope this helps 😊

I'm not sure as we didn't have a dog. Didn't see any either. Maybe on a lead.

Not sure, sorry! The day we visited it wasn't open, but it wasn't a Saturday. Try googling, it may tell you. Cheers
