This castle has a rich history gokng back.to the mideval times.
Napoleon has also used hhis place and one of the former owners was related to the royal family. When we visited there was a lot go see referring to Napoleon.

A very average Chateau not worth the drive, after visiting several chateaus in france, mainly in the Loire I suppose we've been spoilt. But I would not recommend this one unless your bored and at a loss for an hour.

This is the cultural centre for Entente Cordial in the Pas-de-Calais area.
I worked in the new Elizabethan theatre which is a terrific piece of 'modern meets traditional' architecture. I toured the Chateau which is full of extraordinary treasures displayed with maximum irony...!!
My expectations were not aligned at all. This chateau feels like artificial and kitsch.
The use of sounds like burning fire etc are over the top. If you happen to pass there it is ok but otherwise just leave it aside.
