Gorgeous beach, many Barracas to choose from for food and drink, but the big attraction is the coral reef that protects the beach from swell and waves. It is just gorgeous and there are facilities for changing clothes and showering after your swim.It is a great place to safely let your children play or allow old bones like ours to... More

Nice warm water with good waves, not a calm sea, somedays it can drag you a little bit stronger, just pay attention to the flags. The sand doesn't get deed suddenly, so its quite safe to go inside.

Guarajuba Beach is a typical Bahia beach with the coconut trees, the open sea and the botecos (small bars to have a fresh beer at the beach). This is a very long beach, very good to have a walk or to run with low tide, and also to surf.

We walked here from the entrance at the Vila Gale mare resort where we were staying. The slope of the beach is very shallow and you can walk out into the sea for 100 metres before the water hits chest level. The water is warm like your bathtub and the beach has very little to no pollution or garbage, unlike... More

The beach is very clean and calm. At some points there are some rocks but mostly it's just sand. One of the best in this region.

Most people there are natives or nearby town residents, not many tourists. The bars an restaurants are good, but the service is terrible (you have to call a waiter, they dont check on you), the price is ok. The beach itself is pretty calm and has rocks - at the low tide several natural pools get formed -. The water... More

We took a day trip as part of a trip to Praia de Forte and spent 3 hours at the beach. It is a clean beach with restroom facilities (somewhat clean), places to order food and Skol! The cheese on a stick available there is by far The yummiest thing I have had in Brazil!

Beautifull beach, but whatch out of the sinked holes in the sand. Outside de Resort area, the beach don´t seem secure.

This beach is very beautiful and secure. It's placed in the northern of Salvador city. And it's easy to find. Just take the "Estrada do Coco" when you get out of the airport and go through North. 40 km away.
