- aniagusJakarta, Indonesia22 contributionsUnforgettable visit!Amazing work and design. Totally new perspective and I feel like visiting Disneyland as a child ☺️ The Chambers of Silent Light, Art of Performance, Ready to Love are wonderful, as well as the other Chambers. All very details art pieces that I cannot imagine how much time and hard work has put into it.Thank you so much for your kind words and appreciation of our work and designs at Swarovski Crystal Worlds. We're thrilled to hear that you had an amazing experience and that our chambers of wonders left a lasting impression. We put great effort into creating a unique and immersive experience for our visitors, and it's heartening to know that you enjoyed it. - opal98London, United Kingdom201 contributionsWonderful experienceWe went there with low expectation after reading some bad reviews. We had a Innsbruck card so give it a try. We took the shuttle bus from the main station at 8 40 am. Be there before 8 40 am as it only stops as long as passengers are boarding. Only 6 or 7 people board. The bus and journey were very nice. It took 25 to 30 minutes to get to the Swarovski Kristallwelten. It was not busy on that weekday. With Innsbruck card we skipped the line and entered the place. It is located in beautiful surroundings. Inside, it was equally beautiful with different chambers. Not much history but creative display of crystals. They put a lot of effort, imagination and money to make it a wonderful experience. There is lovely shop area,no pressure to buy. We did the shopping as liked some earrings and bracelet. We loved the outside attractions, crystal cloud, mirror pool, playing area my (grown up) kids had fun in taking slides and mini trampoline. The carousel was stunning with amazing background. Didn't try cafe as need to catch the shuttle back to Innsbruck. We enjoyed every bit of our 3 hour trip. We're thrilled that you decided to give Swarovski Crystal Worlds a chance and had a positive experience! It's true, the shuttle ride and the surrounding area are quite pleasant. We're glad you enjoyed the different chambers of wonders and our outdoor attractions. - Valeria S16 contributionsAn enchanting journey we continue to replay in our minds, over and over.It was a truly unique experience where lingering images, sounds, and scents stay with you. Throughout the museum, each space is curated with different aromas, sounds, colors, and themes. A BIG TIP!!! Take your time—don't rush. We hurried, fearing we wouldn't have enough time, as Google suggested 3-4 hours, but it's incorrect. Enjoy it, take your time; I estimate you can comfortably see it all in less than two hours to fully immerse yourself. Even online, when I shared some pieces from the museum, everyone was enchanted; it's pure magic. I can't describe in words what we experienced, but I can tell you they've done an incredible job.Thank you for your kind words! We're delighted to hear that your visit to Swarovski Crystal Worlds left you with a truly unique and magical experience. Your appreciation for the chambers of wonders, aromas, sounds, colors, and themes warms our hearts. Taking your time to fully immerse yourself is indeed the best way to enjoy the enchanting journey. - Jim ABoone, North Carolina24 contributionsThe Swarovski experience immerses you in beautyThis was absolutely a highlight not to miss. You enter beauty at its best. Truly a delight as it immerses you into the 18 rooms, each designed by a skilled artist and highlighting the use of Swarovski Crystals to awaken all of your senses. But it does not stop there, more awaits outside on the grounds surrounding the exhibit. There is so much to see for young and old. At 71, I did not hesitate to go and play after exploring the Crystal World, there was a 4-5 tier playhouse, a carousel and a wonderful walk of beauty outside as you experienced the Crystals art come to life when the sun finally came out from hiding in the clouds. We will talk about this experience for a very long time. We're thrilled to hear about your delightful experience at Swarovski Crystal Worlds! It warms our hearts to know that you found the chambers of wonders to be a highlight. It's wonderful to hear that the outdoor attractions, including the playtower and carousel, added to your enjoyment. There is a shuttle from the main train station that goes to Wattens five times a day. The area includes a beautiful outdoor space with cool installations, as well as the main feature of the Crystal World. It involves a series of rooms with different themes, pieces and art concepts. It was a very cool experience, and lots of nice photo opportunities! - Kamal PByron Bay, Australia8,827 contributionsWalked into a world of crystalsIt was like being in a fairyland with ornamentation and crystals of various colours and sizes set in artistic forms and designs. Entry was to a kind of amusement park going through displays with lots of light and optical illusions. It was very entertaining. Glitter through reflection of light from the surfaces of facets of the crystals in all forms of presentations were delightful. In art of performance, the museum style display of ornate garments, shoes and garb decorated with Swarovski, worn by celebrities were fascinating. Crystal ornaments of birds, wild animals, Disney characters were pleasing. The journey across unfolding wonders of crystal ware took us to their display store and sales which itself was gigantic and attractive creating an impulsion to acquire a beautiful piece as a souvenir of the visit. The external park was also grand with the exhibits like Crystal clouds, Mirror pool, Fat bus and various other creations by renowned designers. The entrance landscape with the weir cascading down from the mouth of a giant or strange character was extremely photogenic. Shuttle bus service from Innsbruck to the Swarovski Museum and back was a very convenient and a comfortable way to get about. Felt that our visit to Innsbruck would not have been complete without the visit we made to Swarovski’s world.Thank you for your glowing review! We're delighted to hear that you found your visit to Swarovski Crystal Worlds enchanting and memorable. We're thrilled that you enjoyed exploring our chambers of wonders. - Rosierock03Bristol, United Kingdom52 contributionsBeautiful 🤩Good day trip! I took the Swarovski shuttle bus from Innsbruck to Swarovski crystal world. Such a beautiful exhibition with lots of interactive activities. There is an inside exhibition but also lots to do outside, including but not limited to a merry go round, a maze. Each room inside the exhibition is a different theme. There is a cafe and restaurant on site, as well as a huge gift shop, like huggggeee gift shop! In totally it probably took me an hour to complete the inside part of the exhibit and the around half hour outside. The shuttle bus took around 30 minutes to and from Innsbruck city centre. My favourite room was the old Hollywood room, here they display previously worn outfits and accessories by celebrities, there was clothing on display that people like lady gaga, Marlyn monroe, Elton John wore. The also had an ice room, somehow they made it snow real snow and it was like a winter wonderland.Thank you so much for calling Swarovski Crystal Worlds beautiful. We're delighted to read, that you had a good day with us and liked our chambers of wonders as well as our other attractions. Hopefully we can welcome you back soon. There’s also a winter room where it’s snowing and the air is very cold. At the end there is large store where you can buy jewlery.Thank you for visiting the Swarovski Crystal Worlds! We had a great time in Swarovski Kristallwelten. The art pieces made of Swarovski crystals were really interesting and worth seeing, also the Lights show outside was beautiful. We spent 2h there but I would say it was a bit of a rush as the place was crowded. I guess 3h would be optimal but then the shuttle bus goes only every 4h. I'd say it would be better if the shuttle could run every hour, so it would help visitors to arrange time better and also the bus would not be super crowded. And also I suggest getting Innsbruck card as it's a much better value for money and you can get the ticket on site without waiting in a regular line which at the time of our visit was really long.

Dear Urte0316,
thank you for sharing your great experience at Swarovski Crystal Worlds here with other travelers!
I am glad to read, that you have enjoyed your visit to the fullest and liked our 17 Chambers of Wonder inside of the Giant as well as our park landscape which surrounds it. Thank you as well for highlighting our Festival of Light - in my opinion the highlight is every year the light show at the Crystal Cloud.
It is a pity, that you felt a bit rushed - your recommendation of two to four hours is the same as we recommend.
Thank you for your feedback regarding the shuttle service. We try to improve in every way possible.
Good insider tip regarding the Innsbruck Card. Good, that you could use it.
Hopefully we can welcome you back in near future. Until then, all the best for you.
Kind Regards

Absolutely amazing experience but my partner made a great point that they really are missing a money making trick here.
There is very little geared to kids and the gift shop is mostly full of jewelry or very expensive crystal models.
I didn’t see a key ring or a jewel shaped soft toy or anything you could buy a kid.
You visit a zoo and almost every kid leaves with a soft toy.
There are some marvel models to buy if you have a few grand spare but nothing on the way round.
Loved the globe at the end. Loved all the rooms.

We hoped to see how crystals are made and the science behind them. Instead we saw some very beautiful crystals (art pieces) and several rooms that were interesting with mirrored effects and lovely music and sounds. The grounds were beautiful and if you had children along they would have enjoyed the park.
However, it is not a science museum at all and we learned that the making of crystal is a top secret.

Dear Y5097VJdianem,
thank you for recently visiting us and for writing this honest review.
The realm of the Giant hosts a rich collection of precious items housed in 17 Chambers of Wonder. Here, in a world of fantasy inspired and designed by some of the world’s greatest artists like André Heller, Studio Job, Manish Arora or Fernando Romero, our guests are invited to experience crystal in all its facets. I am sorry to read, this was not what you have expected. Nonetheless, I am still glad to read, that you have enjoyed strolling through our 17 Chambers of Wonders as well as our park landscape and appreciated all the little details such as music.
As you have mentioned the production of Swarovski crystal is no part of the exhibition since it is a well kept company secret and we would like to keep it that way - thank you for your understanding.
Hopefully you could still collect some nice memories and maybe we get the chance to welcome you back one day.
Kind Regards
Selina

It seems that the only way to be welcomed is by car. The overpriced shuttle bus is actually less frequent than local public transport.
We walked from and to the station. Not a single sign helped us to find the way. But of course it would be easy to find the way to the car park. To make things worse Google takes you on roads without pedestrian path and no lighting. Really dangerous. Swarovski is involved in every corner of the region and definitely the village. They could easily put there weight in to improve the infrastructure.
Why don't you provide a shuttle to the local station for €5 return?
We booked online. When we picked up the ticket we weren't aware that you have to get the audio guide from the same check out. Would have been easy to ask "would you like a guide".

Dear johnnymO6084QF,
thank you for your feedback.
Our shuttle bus travels five times (during summer six times) per day from Innsbruck to Swarovski Crystal Worlds and back without any layovers and is therefore, faster and more confenient than normal public transport. Nonetheless, we do encourage our guests to use more environmental friendly options such as electronic cars, our shuttle service or public transport. The way from the closest bus stop to Swarovski Crystal Worlds is well signposted but we did not think about people that are only using public transport for their return way. Thank you for making us aware of it.
I am sorry, that Google Maps suggested to you the road, we created a direct way for pedestrians from Swarovski Crystal Worlds to the bus stop and the city Wattens.
Nonetheless, I still hope you could experience some nice moments at our place.
Kind Regards
Selina

Summary: It’s worth the money.
More of an art museum than anything else, it’s an amazing experience that you shouldn’t miss. The crystal work is interesting and the art spectacular. The music is both wondrous and creepy at the same time. Make sure you visit the Chandelier of Grief and go inside, stand close to the glass and look up to see millions of lights. The snow chamber inside is novel, but not that amazing. We kept saying that someone like film director, Tim Burton, would feel at home here. The love and peace exhibits were also excellent. Outside they have more great exhibits and a very special inside playground for children. Don’t miss the carousel done in a mod art deco style.
The exact place is a little difficult to find, because of poor signage. But, parking is free, which is always a boon. We bought our tickets online, so we could proceed directly to the entrance without needing to wait.
The friendly woman at the entrance did a marvelous job explaining how to best approach our visit. Some family members wanted to blaze through quickly, but we could’ve easily doubled the length of our stay by reading all the digital exhibit placards, which are displayed in multiple languages. Our visit lasted a little less than 2.5 hours. The gift shop is the largest Swarovski store in the world. So, we couldn’t help but buy something. They had an amazing Batman piece for 28,000EUR!
Unusual for Austria, the wireless Internet was free AND lightning fast. You could also use their QR codes to look up exhibit details on their website.
One thing I would’ve liked is a little more about the geology and chemistry involved with crystal/lead glass. All in all, it’s an excellent museum.

thank you very much for being our guest and for calling Swarovski Crystal Worlds an excellent art museum! I am delighted to read, that you truly enjoyed our art installations. Thank you as well for highlighting details such as our musical effects. Chandelier of Grief of Yayoi Kusama is truly a unique piece of art - lovely, that you enjoyed it!
I am sorry to read, that you had difficulties to find the realm of the Giant. We will for sure consider that the next time we are going to improve it.
Thank you so much for your praise - I will forward it with pleasure to my colleague. I am happy, that you took the time to experience everything in detail and also enjoyed our store.
So nice, that you were also pleased with our free WIFI.

The exhibits in the main building are truly amazing. Having snow indoors was such a nice surprise on e hot day. The chandelier of grief was beautiful and disorienting at the same time. Outside, the crystal cloud and the water feature were lit by the sun and just glistened. Definitely worth the trip.

My wife and I both agreed that the Snowscape (Chamber of Wonder Silent Light) and the Hollywood exhibit were the best! The outdoor grounds and garden was beautiful, but this was not the reason we can… Although that said, it was definitely a plus. I recommend this for anyone. I also wished we would’ve came to the earlier time slots as there would be less people and it was even less expensive.

I enjoyed going through the Swarovski museum, but I was very disappointed that they close half of the attractions an hour before they close. We had arrived in town via train, and after checking in to our hotel we headed straight to the park. We got there a little after 17:00 and went through the museum first. When we finished with that it was about 18:00. The kids were excited to head to the Playtower, but when we arrived we were told it closes at 18:00. The carousel was also closed. We found ourselves with nothing to do. The park is supposed to close at 19:00 with the last entry at 19:00. The last bus comes at 19:05. We had nothing to do for the last hour. The restrooms were even locked so we sat outside on a bench in the cold waiting for nearly an hour for the bus. Very disappointed.

We rearranged our trip the last minute and decided to come here on our anniversary day. That’s why we didn’t have time to study about this place in such detail. We absolutely enjoyed everything. First we saw the museum that is divided in stunning chambers by different themes and artists. All amazing. My favorite was the Silent Night, Studio Job Wunderkammer and Eden. Then you continue to the most amazing store. Huge, beautiful, like a museum itself. After that you can go to the stunning garden with lots of art installations. Crystal Cloud and Mirror Pool is absolutely magical! You also can take a ride in the carousel there. We even went to the playtower. And don’t let me start on the majestic breathtaking Giant at the entrance. Just wow! They also have a restaurant in this stunning complex but we didn’t go there. The only problem was is when we got home and I studied more about Swarovski Kristallwelten I realized we didn’t see one of the chambers. And not any chamber but of Yayoi Kusama, one of my favorite modern artists. I was devastated. I didn’t understand how that happened. I visit museums thoroughly, I take many pictures (maybe even too many), and my husband is very attentive. Not only we didn’t see the sign for the Chandelier of Grief chamber, but I think other guests didn’t see it either, because we kind of followed each other. I emailed immediately the museum and asked if the chamber was perhaps closed or unavailable on that day and they said we simply missed it. So my advice to the guests is take the map and follow everything very carefully. Don’t make our mistake. And my suggestion to the museum: please make sure that the entrance to that chamber is visible and easily noticeable to everyone. I bet many people are even distracted by all the wonders around so it has to be obvious to anyone.

I am delighted to read, that you've spent your anniversary day in the realm of the Giant - congratulations also from our side! Good to read, that you've liked our Chambers of Wonders and that Silent Light and Eden could mesmarize you - the real snow is truly unique. Thank you as well for highlighting our installations in the park. Did you notice the colors of the rainbow every time the sun touches one of the crystals in the Crystal Cloud? I could spend hours there watching it...
I am sorry to read, that you have missed "Chandelier of Grief". We do hand out brochures to all of our guests and we have arrows on the floor that should guide our guest in the right direction. However, we do take guests feedack very seriously and I will forward your suggestions to the responsible team - maybe we can even improve it.
Other than that I can just say that now at least you have a good reason to come back... I really hope we can welcome you back soon. Until then all the best.
Kind regards
Selina

Written April 18, 2023
Swarovski Crystal Worlds is a fantastic attraction that can be enjoyed both on a rainy day and on a sunny day. While exploring the outdoor park might be more enjoyable in sunny weather, there are still plenty of indoor attractions, such as the museum, the shop, the playtower or the restaurant, that can be fully experienced even when it's raining. So, whether it's rain or shine, Swarovski Crystal Worlds offers a lot to see and enjoy. We're looking forward to meet you!
Best,
Selina

Must all the chambers be visited in sequence or can I skip one (or just take a quick look from outside) ? I am a bit concerned about the "Silent Light" and it's -10C temperature which I do not want to face in summertime.

Hi Alberto,
thank you for your interest as well as for your question. All of our Chambers of Wonders are connected and you usually walk through every single one. However, Silent Light is seperated. That way you can see this Chamber of Wonder through a window but do not have to go in in case you don't want to. I hope this answers your question. We are looking forward to welcome you soon!
Kind regards

Dear, are dogs allowed for the visit? If not, are they allowed if they stay in a transport bag? Thanks in advance for your response.

Dear Archi189,
thank you for your interest in Swarovski Crystal Worlds. Dogs are not allowed inside of the Giant or in the park since we work with acustic and visual effects that could be very inconvenient for these animals. However, we do offer dog boxes where they can wait for you during your visit - just let my collegue know at the cashier. In case you do not want that you can also switch with going inside since dogs are allowed in the entrance area in front of the Giant.
I hope my answer helped you.. We are already looking forward to welcome you!
Kind Regards

Dear Mario Simone L, thank you for your interest in Swarovski Crystal Worlds and for reaching out to us!
Sorry if I did use the translation with your review. We do appreciate and value each of our guests feedback, like yours.
As Nic R already correctly answered we would recommend two to three hours for visiting the whole area which includes the park. However, it is totally up to you and it is also possible to spend the whole day with us.
We look forward to welcome you!
Kind Regards
Selina
