Nice place with great views.
A lot of steps though so make sure your fit, or you might end up having 1, tee hee.
Good cafe serving very good coffee plus lots more..
Nice way to spend an hour or two.

The top entrance is on the seaward side of Carreteras Los Angeles, double iron gates with a metal plaque beside it reading Parque Los Lavaderos. Ther are a large number of steep stone steps with numerous viewpoint railings. The upper half is fairly overgrown, it looks a little uncared-for. Don't let that put you off though because the views Southwest overlooking the coastal towns and Mount Teide is fantastic on a clear day. The Parque was fairly deserted when we visited, so it cannot be very well known about (except by the locals). It used to be where the villagers used to come and do their laundry in stone pools, but is now a verdant oasis with lizards, dragonflies, little fish and the Canary Island grey Wagtail. At the bottom, there is a long stepped track which looks as though it leads further down towards the coast. There is a side entrance in the Parque just off Calle Sierva de Dios which is a very steep one in four slope. Just to the top of that sloping road, there is a cactus garden, well worth having a quick look around, some of the cacti are very tall with flowers.

We were taken to this location by a local resident about 20 years ago and we have been back at least twice a year ever since. It is quiet and peaceful and like all of El Sauzal it is kept beautifully. The views over the ocean and up to Teide are fantastic. We usually spend about an hour walking and sitting in this beautiful location. Don`t tell too many people about it as we like the quiet peacefulness of these gardens. P.s. On one occasion there was an old lady dressed in black washing her clothes in one of the pools!!

This park is a refurbished old place to wash cloths. It's beautiful, lushly green and suitable only if you are fit as it is very steep
If you are lucky the coffee place will be open

If you rent a car you have to see this small park. View is just breathtaking. If your driving skills are above average I would suggest to look for "El caleton" on google maps as it's just as beautifully, but harder to get to.

This park is quite a jewel: it is not very big, but a walk through it is very relaxing thanks to the silence that surrounds you. The sound of the ocean from beneath is breathtaking, like the views.
Don't forget your camera, this is a great place for nice shots.

a beautiful little park on the hillside with a very chilled out cafe, fab place to relax and look out over the sea and wander round the gardens.

One of the most beautiful mountain slope parks I have ever been to. Both times I've accidentally passed the the main entrance, because there's no big signs telling where to park your car. It is not a large park and is relatively new, opened 1987, but it has something to give to every visitor: a peaceful place to sit downd and enjoy magnificent views from this park offers, flowers and other species of flora. Park has small ponds and thin creeks which are almost dry during the warmest period, but still it gives very welcomed shades to cool down. Religious people can surely imagine how it may have looked in garden of Gethsemane. I made my last visit during the Holy Week (Santa Semana) and was able to get the feeling of Easter.
Local people has known this place for a long time before it got its park status, because it has been a place for laundry, for social gathering and gossips. Old time Facebook :)
For disabled people this park gives almost too much challenge by its countless and steep steps although if you are able to find its second entrance you will be granted an easy entrance to the lowest level with very nice views.

The complex used to be beautiful, but now it looks rather neglected. Withered scrub everywhere, the cafe closed. I was disappointed. Only the sea view is nice.
