While accompanying my husband at the maths conference in Bedlewo I rented a bike to explore the National Park and lakes. I came across this the most unexpected and amazing museum , full of exotic sculptures and travel trophies. It was so interesting to learn more about the writer's life and to experience his family home atmosphere. Thank you very much for keeping this amazing museum alive and thriving.
PS You can pay by card which was useful as I had no cash but Pan Marek unintentionally forgets to give you your card back 😊Thank you very much again. It was a wonderful experience in the sunny autumn scenery.

Excellent place to learn about tolerance and multicultural environment. The museum is located in the real house of the famous Polish writer and traveller - Arkady Fiedler and managed by his, also famous, son.

It was great to see so many souvenirs from all around the world in one place.
Everything organized properly considering different journeys of Arkady.
Definitely a place worth visiting!

Racist - sexist - postcolonial collection of kitschy souvenirs with nightmarish descriptions, without context and thematic harmony. In the garden, the pyramid next to the ship and the barrack on "crow's feet" for adults only. I recommend only for smart adults as a lesson "How not to show the world".

The collection is really impressive and nicely-prepared. It is an old type museum, not much interactive staff but actually it gives it even more charm, you can feel almost like in Fiedler's time. Not many other tourists, so we could walk quite freely, without rush. The surrounding area is nice as well, very quite. Really pleasant visit.

There was time, long time ago, when I was reading his books -- all of them that I could find..... If you did it as well.... you have to visit his house-museum... Place where he was writing these books that you loved (I hope you loved them as much as I did ;-)

In my opinion it should be a great place to visit. But, owners want to earn on this only and lost Fiedler spirit. The pyramid and secrets of indian's room are tragic.
Fiedler was a great traveler and left many photographs and memorabilia which should be exposed in a proper way. But we have a chaotic collection of original things mixed with other gifts and cheap replicas. Worth a look but I recommend you read Fiedler books first.
