We have used taxi collectivo for 20 CUC/per person(round trip) to go there. You can rent chair and umbrellas(for 2 chairs and 1 umbrella we paid around 6 CUC (remember negotiate) nice place, during the day it can get crowded but still worth it.

Enchanting white sand beach – one of the most beautiful we saw in Cuba. It is definitely worth the trip. You can take taxi collectivo or the bus. There are two restaurants and bars on the beach. The food was ok and the beer was...More

Cayo Jutias it's my favorite beach in Cuba. It's so far from hotels, tourism and noise. If you like place without people it's geat choice :)

Cayó Jutias is far from everything (takes 2 hours with an experienced driver who knows all the holes in the road to get there from Viñales), but definitely worth the efforts. The mangroves are beautiful and the water is clear and has the perfect blue...More

This is, at best, an average beach by Caribbean standards.  Narrow beach, shallow water, no waves, no off-the-beach snorkeling.  It has a a few amenities and some ironwood trees and rentable umbrellas for shade.  It's a 90 minute or two hour ride from Vinales, each...More

We drove with a taxi collectivo from Vinales together with six other people to the Cayo Jutias. Although the route is only about 55km long, the journey took about 1:40 h, as the road towards the coast is getting worse and worse. Apart from the...More

I was attracted to take this daytrip because Lonely Planet described the beach as very remote and quiet. That isn't really the case anymore. The drive from Vinales takes 2 hours each way, mostly due to half the road being full of potholes. I don't...More

We were staying at Puerto Esperanza and this beach in theory should have been 15-20 minutes away but because the roads was so bad it took us an hour. We went twice. The first time we went to the beach that sold food. The beach...More

We are staying in Vinales 2 January to 7 January 2017. We would like to go snorkeling at Cayo Jutias or somewhere nearby. Can you recommend a driver who can take us from Vinales and show us the good snorkeling spots? (like a private snorkeling tour for the day)
