About
Ahoy! Pirates Cove is an 18 hole pirate theme adventure mini golf course. Putt through caves, past waterfalls, through tombstones, all around shark infested waters! We are affordable, suitable for all ages, wheelchair and buggy friendly and you can bring your own food to eat in our reserved area. We are ideal for birthday parties, corporate functions, teams and groups, hen's and stag do's and very family friendly. Come on down and show us your skills (or luck!).

Good value for a hour or so of fun on a sunny afternoon.
Well maintained course and just challenging enough without being crazy hard.
Although whoever designed hole 17 is a sadist
Managed a win so that’s a bonus :)

We played this course recently while in Porirua, excellent well kept course, one of the better courses we played on in NZ. Only down side was we went back to play again later in the day at around 4.30 but found the place to be closed and locked up due to being closed. Website advertises that last tee off is 5.00pm, so thought that was pretty poor for a professional looking set up

This 18 hole pirate themed course is well situated in Porirua really taking advantage of the sea view backdrop.
This course would suit all experience levels but don't get me wrong she'll definitely keep the most avid mini golfers on their toes, some of the features included a waterfall to navigate around, a wee creek to jump and one hole in particular that has the potential to mentally break you if your having a shocker.
Overall this would be a great place to spend a sunny day with friends or family, and take advantage of those sea views with a picnic afterwards.

been a while since we ve been there but its a great place to have lots of fun for the kids pplus nice coffee places around the corner along the waters edge.

We took the train from Wellington to Porirua and back (about $10 per person). Then its a 10 min walk to the mini golf along the water front. Its the most impressive layout, with a huge waterfall, pirates ship, and caves. Its a 42 par 18 hole course. There was no waiting for others, so we whipped around in about 45min. It would be good to see some more challenges or variation on the greens. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This is a very average mini golf course compared to other mini golf courses I've visited before. It is a great place to take the kids and the family. Its in a good location with great scenery. The prices are average and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. Despite this mini gold course being small and simple you still get quite a bit of enjoyment out of it. Especially if you have good competition.

I took my two grandchildren to PiratesCove earlier this year and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I must say l also enjoyed myself. We were given a golf ball and golf stick each and the obstacle course is very well laid out. You can spend quite a while playing mini golf and it is sure fun for all the family, young and old.

We've been here a number of times. Usually months apart. It's a fun way to spend an hour. Some of the holes pretty challenging, but its great fun (minor tantrums aside).
Like most mini-golf courses, it could be tidied up a little bit. But overall it’s in good condition.

visited with my two sons and eldest son's partner. It was good fun with reasonably straightforward obstacles/. What we liked was that the course was in pretty good state of repair with little or no debris and staff were friendly
