Been thinking about trying surfing for years. This weekend finally got the chance with my 2 children aged 11 and 6. Surf was good. Saunton is a great beach to learn on as you get longer breaks in waves to get on your board.
This was a great experience for our whole family.

Had a group lesson coached by Jamie D. He was really patient and dynamic in teaching adults and kids and by the end we were all catching waves and standing up although half of us hadn't surfed before.
Highly recommended in beautiful Saunton Sands.
