Took the fur kids down to the beach. All I can say is WOW. I have never seen a beach like it. It was HUGE. Went out for miles. Clean. Sandy. What more could you ask for. Well there is rock pools galore, you can...More

What a beach, one of the biggest in the area. Dog friendly, with parking close by. Amenities available, such as surf school, surf hire, food/drink places. We were eight families, so approx 25 people, and had ample room and not crowded, but suspect at the...More

Visited one afternoon with wife and 3month baby. My wife being desperate for the loo, we practically drove through the welcome kiosk, waving through the £6 without a thought. Then we thought: that’s a bit pricey out of season after 330. Nevertheless the stretch of...More

Visited here 4 times over the last fortnight, spending the whole day on the beach, we were a family of 5. We arrived about 10am (ish) each day, this gets you a good slot in the car park before it fills. About 4pm onwards it...More

Great really long beach to walk on. Even better was the huge expanse of dunes behind to explore. We walked there so no idea of the parking charges but it is now pay and display, rather than a day charge.

The beach is so big and there’s definitely enough space, I would just take it. It would probably be better to do it in low season as there will be a lot less people. :)

Better off at Lobbfields ! They allow you to park up in the day but parking costs around £7.
