Great beach, miles of space for dogs and children. Shame about the cramped over priced Carpark. Very tight spaces, lots of cars having difficulty getting in or out of spaces. Dangerous when walking through the Carpark. The toilets were dirty and horrible. Felt very grubby...More

The clouds had appeared by the time we reached Saunton Sands Beach so decided not to spend too long there. It is however (from our short visit) a huge sandy beach that is banked by sand dunes. Our dog loved it & obviously very popular...More

It is hard to find such a fantastic sandy beach that is also dog friendly. The far end is potentially naturist and massive sand dunes

Fantastic spot for walks in summer or winter. We visited on New Year's Day and had no issues parking; with a fee of just over £2 for a couple of hours not being too bad, although I guess that would be considerably more in the...More

We had a fabulous two hour walk on this superb long beach, with the sun making a perfectly timed unexpected appearance! You only need to go a short way from the car park to have the place to yourself. Loved the sense of space and...More

The beach is so big and there’s definitely enough space, I would just take it. It would probably be better to do it in low season as there will be a lot less people. :)
