I was there on Thursday 14th November 2019, with the "East Devon Countryside Team" to do a scrub clearance by the footpath, to enable the bluebells to flourish in the coming Spring. I was there with 13 other people including the person leading the group and tasks, between 10am

I was there for volunteer work on Thursday 8th August 2019. This woodland is a nature reserve, not far from the main road through Colyford. It is a lovely time of year to harvest blackberries when going along the footpath, walking to the woods at this time of year.

We often walk through the woods here. It is especially good at blue bell time when the sides of the slopes are covered in blue, just lovely. However at anytime of year there is always something to see and great to hear the birds singing. East Devon at its best.

Lovely wood, very quiet and peaceful, we only meet two other walkers the time we were there, lots of good sniffs for the dogs, and a stream for them to paddle in, our elderly dog manged the 2 mile round walk, only having to be carried back up the field to the car. We picked
