Aside from the Saint Joseph Cathedral, this is one of the local Catholic churches in the city of Butuan. It requires a few minutes ride from the city center (i.e. town plaza, City Hall) to reach the church.

This church is far from the city, you will pass Robinson's from city going there. It is one of the most solemn church I ever visited.

The shrine is undergoing renovation and probably will be for another 6 months, by the looks of it. But church services are not really compromised. I was there for the anticipated mass at 6pm Saturday, and there were plenty of empty spaces.

This is an impressive shrine dedicated to the Santo Nino. This site is the focal point of festivities revolving around the people's devotion to the Senor Santo Nino - the infant Jesus.
