This is an island you can spend time to relax. Rent a bike and go around. You can hire boat to go for ride in the Mekong river.

I visited Si Phan Don (One Thousand Islands) in September 2017 coming from Cambodia. It is located just at the boarder of both countries. It is about a natural wonder of the Mekong River that is becoming very popular to see. It has already two...More

I would skip Don details unless your a young party animal in need of narcotics. There's some great trails to be explored on Don Khone, complete with bridges made from old railway tracks (take care). The two locomotives are definitely worth a look if you're...More

A collection of islands many with guest houses and hotels, ideal for all age groups and budgets. Quiet, easy to get around by boat, just a great part of the world to chill out for a few days.

A quiet island that is basically shut down by 9 or 10. A nice place to unwind if you want to get away from all cars and masses of scooters. No one is pushing to sell anything and the locals are all genuine and I...More

In order for you to enjoy this place you must relax, unwind and get away from the reggae reggae places. At first I didn't get it and wanted to leave, but I changed guesthouse to somewhere more secluded and surrendered. I'm glad I did

Really worth the trip, we stayed at don khone which probably is the most laid-back island. Take a kayaking-tour, was so much fun!! Kayaking the mekongriver downstreams, swimming close to a waterfall and then barbeque on an island with lots of beaches!:)
