The location is fantastic but the council seems to not care about this place at all. Car parking is limited so you will end up parking on the street. Toilets were a big put off - lights not working, uncleaned toilets, no toilet paper, out of soap. Council needs to invest more in the upkeep of this beautiful location. They could also invest in a tower viewer (paid) to enjoy the view of the beautiful city landmarks.

The Hills as we call them are literally are a 10 minute walk for me.
Nice to go chill out when it’s hot if you can find a space to sit.
Think there could be more in there for kids to do
My criticism is that the cafe need to change their oil when they are cooking the smell coming from the cafe is awful, smell greasy.

Nice and relaxing enjoyed a picnic. Can be annoying when some old English man kept coming upto us.telling us to move if a fisherman came to fish. It also happened to my other daughter when she was bike riding with her friends. They both noticed that he did not go and speak to any other people in the park.

I absolutely love this place, it has always held a dear place in my heart because it’s where my (now) husband and I would talk about our future, getting married, having kids. We love coming here after having lunch in Boxpark, Wembley - it’s like our wholesome tradition now. The views are wonderful and I just love trying scoping out the views around London, this is a lovely area to have a chilled, low key day out with your partner, friends or a day out with the family.
I have always loved this park for so many reasons, mainly because of how in our early years of dating we would talk about our plans for the future and we would always have such a lovely, wholesome day out.
However the main reason I love this place even more is because it’s also where my husband proposed, all our conversations came full circle - so now, it forever has a very special place in my heart ❤️

Visited to take part in parkrun (every Saturday at 0900). Nice park, quite despite being very close to the A40 to the north.
Cafe in the park too.
Fishing lakes if that's your thing, plus a shop nearby selling licences and gear.
Very flat so easy to walk and run around.
Popular with dog walkers.

Great scenery, large pack and the hills offer an amazing view of Central London. There's also a big children's playground, cafe, and public toilets. Great for a run or pictnic.

Northala Fields is a great place for a little morning or afternoon stroll. Even though parking can be a nightmare in the area, once there and you climb to the top of the mound, the views are great. Nice little workout too. The water was so calm and peaceful as well. This place has a lot of offer and explore. Definitely worth a visit.

This used to be an industrial waste dump area for more than 35 years, after which it was found to be safe by the local authority so it was us as a scrambler track for bicycles and motorcycle for about 10 years. I think some part of this area was also left a wetlands for birds and frogs to breed.
Then about 7 years ago, when they were rebuilding the Wembley Stadium, they used all the old rubble from the old Wembley stadium and it was dumped here into 4 large mount and the tallest being about 38 meters high, the park designers also added 6 fish ponds and a boating pond with in this park area.
The covered the concrete rubble with top soil and and planted grass on all four hills and on the highest hill they laid a spiral path to the top of the hill with a viewing point overlooking the whole recreational area. They have built children playground and adult exercise area and there is a coffee house and public toilets area. There is also a school to teach young people about pond fishing I think its called a hook and line club. There is a small nine hole golf club and a skate park area and an area designated for model airplane flying area. They are also developing more area on the far end of the recreational ground, but i am not sure what it is. GK esq.

I visit Northala Fields to do a Parkrun on Saturdays. Nice place for a run mainly flat but with 3 small mounds which present a small challenge. Two small car parks which are free of charge.

Is it allowed to have a small celebration there (Birthday Party), or do we need to ask permit?

Hi this place is used for activity generally walking running and ideal for family friends and children
The area is vastly large with numerous sporty events which are held throughout the year
I guess if you want to have a birthday party picnic etc wouldn’t harm, best to check with Ealing Council.
