My tour guide Jojo of Ellen’s Tours and Captain Avel of my banca , brought me into Kayangan Lake round 8:30am . It’s off season and low season due to Covid pandemic, so it was just one banca docked on the pier , ours!

Jojo and i trekked up to the vantage point for about 15 mins , i was able to admire the view and thank God coz there were not too many boats on the dock .

Then we trekked to the other side for The Lake and voila , we were the only two people there !!!
I owned the lake ! Yeah !

Beautiful Creation by God indeed !!!

This is clearly one of the top local attractions as it was absolutely jammed with boats and people. It's worth persisting though as it is very pretty.

The climb up and over from the landing place to reach Kayangan Lake is definitely not for the infirm - lots of very uneven steps and can be slippery.

The needle fish in the lake are definitely unusual. This is another compulsory life jacket place.

It is only a short walk up (and down) some steep stairs to a nice lake. The seating is limited so ask your boat captain if you can stop in an off peak time. The small needle nose fish are quite brave and follow you around. We would have appreciated it more if it was our 1st day tour in Palawan and if it wasn't so busy.

Kayangan lake is a must visit in Coron for those who have the stamina to climb over 300 steps going uphill and downhill to reach the lake. The top of the hill offers the most picturesque view of the islands and the sea. A dive into the lukewarm water of the lake is also very exhilarating experience after the arduous climb uphill. There is not much to see underwater, so just floating on your backside with the live vest to appreciate the rock formations around the lake is very relaxing way to spend the time in the lake.

While in the Philippines we decided to do some island hopping and this lake was on our itinerary. I’m not necessarily a fan of lakes but since it was on the itinerary I figured why not. WOW ! This was the most beautiful like I have ever seen in my life !!!! I urge you to add it to your itinerary while in the wrong it’s just unbelievable!

Our boat pulled up and we were told there was a bit of climbing involved from the day tour operator we were exploring the lakes and lagoons with. It's O.K. he said there are steps. Well there were 300 steps climbing up to the top of the mountain where the famous photos are taken. Then 300 steps down the other side to the magnificent lake. Not only that there was the return of 600 steps to get to the boat. I'm 72, a fanatic scuba diver, very fit but had the flu. I'm happy to say, I did it, and I'm super glad I did. It's a beautiful lake and snorkelling about in the magical clear water was well worth "a couple" of steps. Don't miss doing this. Dianne.

First time in Coron and kayangan is just unbelievably breathtaking. Of course you have to work for it cuz it is a real climb to see this work of nature. There are benches along the way if you need to catch your breath!!! Better to come early to avoid the crowd. Coming down you'll see this crystal clear lake, so calm so serene if you're early. Well worth the visit.

It was a beautiful lake to plunge into and swim / enjoy.

Views are beautiful and the hike up and down a long flight of stairs is worth it.

There may be tons of tourists but you're able to go at your own pace and find nooks that you alone want to explore.

Theres also fish that you can see and other green coloured sea urchins in parts of the lake.

they say that this is a sacred place for the indigenous Tagbanwa people. You will need succeed a steep 10-minute climb to see the crystal-clear waters of LakeKayangan. It’s a crystal clear freshwater lake with underwater rock formations. There are small stores where you can buy fresh buko juice when you get thirsty.

Kayangan Lake a must visit in Coron Palawan! going there was a bit hard, you will hike for about 15 minutes before you got to see the beautiful Kayangan Lake. Absolutely instagramable. I Super love it.
