Nice size car park and easy enough to park. Good price for the car park too. We had a walk along to the castle and back along the river and then a play in the play park. Only spent a couple of hours here which was more than enough. Nice to come see some where different to our usual park but not worth the 30 minute drive me me unfortunately but if we was ever passing we would come back again

We parked here for over 8 hours for £2.70. The parking machines were a nightmare and after about 15 minutes as the phone/internet signal was so bad we managed to use the online payment system. We did a lovely walk called the Lullingstone loop. We lost the sign by the Roman villa, we should’ve gone down a little path but ended up continuing in the field and arrived in eynsford. We could’ve turned back but decided to head to a pub for lunch then later that afternoon walked back to the car. Beautiful park with toilets and shop/cafe and easy access to the castle and castle farm lavender field & shops. Plenty of benches, open areas and woodland.

I went there with my son for a quick Sunday walk.
The park itself is very nice.
What a surprise a week after our visit. Parking charge notice £70 although I was pretty sure I paid for our visit. I went to pay machine straight and follow the instructions on the screen.
There was an information that my card was authorised but no display ticket printed out so I assumed there is just digital parking system as I'm paying by card.
To be sure it is like that I waited by machine bit longer and I could see other people in the same situation. Also plenty of cars without displayed ticket.
Everyone quite confused. No printouts for some.
Be awere when visit and make sure you have phisical proof of payment.
Even if it was just temporarly issue they should know about it and don't penaltilase people for that period.
Bad experience. My last visit there.

Lovely little place. Gift shop reasonable, small play park and kids enjoyed the half term trail. Nice walk along the river.

Greta place to unwind and walk - quiet and peaceful - just love it. We have used this place for the past year ( pandemic) exercise - fantastic - great views and scenery.

Park area/ views are lovely and walks are nice around the park and Castle area .. however Cafe disappointing! Only filter coffee available and no date on Sandwiches .. inside looked like a bring and buy sale with stuff on tables , the toilets were a bit smelly and dirty looking with no hand sanitiser ! .. we drove down to Castle Farm to look at the Lavender and there was a lovely Kiosk selling all sorts of coffee and lovely snacks all looked very pretty , I suggest you visit there it’s lovely !

We visited today as a family with 2 boys (6 & 9). We decided to do the Summer Trail for the kids (£3 trail sheet from the cafe as the visitor centre was closed). The kids had great fun following the clues and we enjoyed the walk. We got a bit confused at one point but pointed ourselves in the general direction and managed to complete the trail. The boys returned to the cafe for their prize, which they are still very happy to have received! The lady who handed them out was very helpful and friendly - the boys are now very excited to return for the next event. (Half term Halloween fun, hopefully). We then took a quick walk down to the river where the kids splashed around in their wellies. A great (and cheap) day out. We will return :)

Visited today with kids (14 & 10) and dog. Picked up the discovery trail for my youngest for £3. Didn’t use the shop besides to pay for this and a bottle of water for each of us.
Trails are lovely, we had a walk for a good couple of hours looking for clues and following directions. Nice and quiet so there were times we didn’t see other people for quite some time. Dog had a great time as there were places we were able to let her off the lead to explore.
If you walk close to the boundary of castle farm next door you can smell the lavender on your walk which is lovely. A new dog walking spot with a cheap car park. We’ll be back to do some of the other trails for sure.

Another afternoon, time to visit another country park, and today was the turn or
LULLINGSTONE!!!

We drove through Eynsford, a picturesque perfect location, and down a country lane to the country park of Lullingstone.

We pay and display £1.50, which was not bad for the afternoon and we started the riverside walk down to Lullingstone Castle, as I always do download a map for your peace of mind, as you arrive at the castle, you can visit we declined on this occasion and carried on the path towards the Lullingstone Roman Villa, if you want to visit the villa,at the time of our visit, you have to pre book, we on the other hand marvelled at the stunning viaduct that cuts across the skyline before climbing the hill path up in the hay fields for another stunning vista over the darenth valley see by my picture the wonderful view.

Your path then snakes along the edge of Lullingstone Golf Course, before crossing the fairway to the 18th hole, alas you may be needing light refreshments, but carry on won’t be long before your back at the car park by the visitor centre.

So as I was saying you then cut across the third fairway of the nine hole course before walking down through covered woodland all the way back to the car park.

You will be welcomed by the visitor centre and playground, looking for the outside the visitor centre and playground caters for all walks of life but we declined on this occasion and got back in the car to head home.

So In summary,if your at a LULL !! Visit the Country Park at Lullingstone a lovely walk to pass a couple of hours !!!!!
