I love ciders so I had a flight. $9.00 for 4 was a great price. Crisp and refreshing. They had a coffee cider I was hesitant on but it was delicious! Had to bring some home. The venue is beautiful and relaxing. Great customer service from host to bartenders. Different foid specials per day..we snacked on a sidt pretzel and loaded waffle fries..both good. Highly recommend!

Bold Rock is one of the better brew stops in the Asheville area. They have a not-too-vast menu of around 10 ciders and some local beers to go along with it. The ciders are pretty well made. I enjoyed the drier options and the IPA cider. The pineapple tasted a bit too strongly of pineapple juice and the rose was a bit too sour for me, but others may like it. There is a lot of space, both indoors and outdoors. The outdoors is nice and the location is set away from major roads. There is an outdoor stage for live music. The permanent food truck was good, but I would call that the weak spot of the cidery. The BBQ was not terribly great. The fried chicken sandwich was better than the BBQ but still not excellent. That being said, the space and alcohol selection is better than most other breweries in the region. It's well worth checking out.

Great food; smoked wings, waffle fries, awesome burgers and crazy fried chicken sandwich. The ciders are amazing; pineapple seasonal (I hope they make it year round and in a can for the lake), classic Apple is very simple yet never tasted anything like it, great taste. VERY REFRESHING CIDERS!!! The view is awesome, kid friendly and large outdoor space for them to roam around! Air conditioned seating inside and spacious seating at picnic tables outside! Great views of the surrounding hills. Wait staff were ALL practicing "Social Distancing" and wore masks!

I have to admit I was not a hard cider fan until we recently visited here during The Brewery Experience Tour. The only hard cider that I had tried was Strongbow when we were in the UK and I found it very tart. I was educated at Bold Rock and now have a whole new appreciation for cider. Great place to visit with an open atmosphere, COVID Safe, and and beers on draft as well. Yet the cider is excellent! We loved the Paradise, the IPA cider, and everything else we sampled. Well worth the stop and we were impressed with the local orchards that they support as well as the farmers in the area.

We had burgers and pineapple cider. Both were very good. They were careful to seat everyone a good distance apart. Plus. I never ever drink beer. Can’t stand the taste. This cider was actually pleasant and refreshing. Outdoor space was nice.
