What a treat! I spent 28 years in Whitehorse and watched a lot of dog races but had never run a team. Finally got a chance on a visit back. What a thrill! I'd do it again in a minute. I drove the 10k out and sat in the sled while my wife drove the return trip. Great dogs, friendly,... More

We did a full day of sledding. On arrival we were introduced to our guide for the day (Kieran) and then shown inside to get our clothing assessed. If the staff felt it would not be warm enough they had alternate clothing available at no extra cost. On that note, make sure you have really warm socks or the toe... More

We took a full day dog sledding trip and my family all declared it the highlight of our trip to the Yukon. Working with the dogs was great fun and our guide Kieran was incredibly helpful, competent and did everything to look after us and make the day. If you visit Whitehorse you really must try dog sledding and I... More

Had a wonderful afternoon adventure here dog-sledding for a few hours. We were picked up at our hotel by Keeran and drove out to their facility. The facilities were terrific and their attention to the guests is great. The dog sled experience was great fun and then had a nice snack of fresh brownies and hot chocolate in their lodge.... More

Call direct 4 marvelous days/3 flickering nights and so much more. Dog sledding, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and on-site viewing if lights honor you with their presents. Exceptional personal attention was taken to make sure our experience was safe, warm, and “a day to remember”. The crew was focused on our safety: double checking before departing ranch that all cold weather... More

Thank you Manuela and Jeff for running this wonderful place and giving us the experience of a lifetime!! Having visited Muktuk for an afternoon in the summer - and liking the spirit of it - we decided to come back in the winter for a whole week. Spending a week in the Muktuk Lodge, with several days of dogsledding allowed... More

There are so many great adventures you can have at Whitehorse Canada and the half day dog sledding is one that you just have to put on your 'to do' list. The experience of steering the dog sled exceeded my fun expectations. The scenery they take you through is like out of a fairy tale. The staff are all friendly... More

Great place just outside Whitehorse. The staff clearly love and care for the large number of dogs they have there. We did a full day trip down the frozen river, building a fire and cooking lunch whilst giving the dogs a rest. Loved every minute of it!

They have it all! You need only arrive in time. All external clothing is provided from mitts to boots and everything in between. The staff are courtious and patient. The equipment is all in good working condition and the dogs are excited to go. They quide you out through many klms of breathtaking scenery as you wind along the Takhini... More

Absolutely fantastic day! I went mushing last winter at another outfitter and didn't enjoy myself so when my family suggested we go, I wasn't that excited. Well, we had a fantastic day! Muktuk provided everything from boots to coats to mittens. If you don't have any warm gear, don't worry! The guides fully brief you know safety and then you're... More
