The building is beautiful. My 3 star is only because it’s April and the museum is closed until May! I understand why (I’m here in off season). Would love to come back and have a tour of the inside.

My husband and I visited several museums in Whitehorse but I believe this is my favorite. First of all it is in a log church built around 1900 to fulfill the dream of Bishop Bompas and Rev Bowen to serve the area. The museum has exhibits and displays about the history of the Anglican church in the Yukon dating back to before the Gold Rush. You learn about the pioneers, missionaries, and First Nation peoples. I was especially intrigued with the video about Isaac Stringer "the Bishop who ate his boots". What dedication to his calling. There is a small area with pews where I sat to have a quiet moment. I thought I'd spend a short time but ended up in the museum for a couple of hours. A truly unique museum in an area where focus is on the Gold Rush and the Alaska Highway. There is also a gift shop. An overall wonderful experience.

A nice Museum with information on the history of the Church. Across the street are several interesting Murals. I got my Yukon Passport stamped at this Museum.

The history at the Old Log Church is interesting, but the cost to get in was a bit prohibitive. It goes to a good cause though, which I assume is to preserve the site.

Small venue with a variety of items related to Anglican ministers and their families. Not much to see.

Filled with antiques related to the church itself is is an inexpensive "museum" that will only take about an hour to tour. Lots of street front parking but no room for rv's here. The church is in it's original state and is very quaint.

This is a small museum focused on the history of the Anglican Church in the Yukon and more particularly in Whitehorse, including some noteworthy personalities, among them Bishop William Carpenter Bompas (love that name!) and Bishop Isaac Stringer, as well as their wives. Artifacts, beadwork, information about Bible translation, you name it, the museum has it. Recommended.

So much history about the area and the people. This is a great place to see, won't take long as it is small, but it is well worth the stop.

This church is a must see. 5 minute walk from the tourism building and has the classic feel of the Gold Rush.
