Great museum which is undergoing renovations at the moment. Our guide was a Dawson native so she knew Yukon history. I recommend visiting this museum

The museum was under renovation but it was still interesting. The pictures and stories of those that helped build the Alaska Highway was very interesting. Just wish people would quit referring to artifacts found from millions of years ago, just stick with the story being...More

This was an excellent museum. We learned so much about Canada, the Yukon, the history of the Allan highway, as well as the animals of the area. We were intrigued for over an hour.

Loved to visit the museum! Well done and learned a lot about the gold rush mining. Sad to see how Natives lost their lands ans identity caused by the white people coming for gold digging.

Even though the museum is currently under construction it was very informative about Yukon's history including the Gold Rush and we enjoyed the animal exhibit.
