Arctic Range Adventure put on the most amazing trip for us! We saw the northern lights and went dog sledding, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. We were novices but it didn't matter. There was plenty of instruction and help along the way. The guides were all so wonderful and everything ran so smoothly, from being picked up at the airport, to all the events. We can't wait to go back. We loved every minute, including the wildlife park and hot springs too. Although temps dropped to well below freezing, we were fine in our good quality arctic range gear. We also really appreciate the extra effort from the Arctic staff to make bookings for events at the last minute. We truly appreciate the top notch company and tour!

Thank you Felix and your team especially to Shungo who was with us during our 3 tours and 2 nights of Aurora viewing this September, 2022. This trip was quite memorable for everyone and we are so grateful to Arctic Range Adventure for arranging our itineraries and booking the hotel accommodations. Everything went so smoothly. Shungo did a fantastic job in providing us with narrative of all the places and sites we visited. He is quite knowledgeable, one important qualities of a good tour guide. We were quite a rowdy crowd but he was so patient and accommodating. He made us comfortable and always thinking of our needs. THANK YOU @ArcticRangeAdventure for your exceptional service. Rest assured that you will be highly recommended.

I signed up for the Activity Winter Adventure. Included was a sight seeing flight, ice fishing, snow shoeing and snowmobiling, wildlife preserve viewing. The scenery was awe inspiring and this beautiful land is an outdoor activity haven. Thanks to Shungo Nagatomo for making my visit to the Yukon a memorable experience.

The experience did not. Live up to the advertised expectations. The heated bus, was not heated and extremely cold and uncomfortable. The Guide / driver did not speak or do any explanation of the Aurora. The good food and drink, was a bunch of packaged cookies, a bowl of chips and a half bowl of nacho chips, with tea, or infant coffee. The tepees were a danger, where one caught fire and they had no plan or equipment to put it out other than to try and throw snow at it! The Stars were beautiful , the Aurora unfortunately was weak but that is the chance you take. The overall experience was not worth the money paid, it was basically a $ 135.00 cold bus ride! definitely not as advertised . There were a lot of people crammed into one unit, they are making a good profit on this tour offering. Very disappointed!!!

Thank you for your feedback and we are very sorry to hear we didn't quite meet your expectation. We always strive to provide a memorable experience for each guest on our tour and we value your feedback. The small fire in the teepee was actually quickly taken care of by our guides. They used fire extinguisher to take care of a small fire which started around the fire pit. This is the first time something like this happened and of course we will review our safety protocol to make sure this won't happen again.

It was a wonderful experience - tours are run very well, staff are all friendly, and communication beforehand was always quick. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to see the Northern Lights.

My only criticism is the hotel they book you into. The Westmark Hotel was the worst hotel I stayed in in Canada and would not recommend ANYONE stay there - I understand that Arctic Range must have a deal with the hotel, but honestly, it's not worth it. We had no hot water on 3 occasions (we complained but were dismissed by front desk), housekeeping rarely came, and bathroom was hardly clean.

Thank you very much for your kind review about our tours and our team. We are happy to hear you are recommending our Northern Lights viewing tour. We do apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your hotel stay. It appears the hotel had a temporary issue with one of their boiler during your stay and that caused the shortage of hot water. Of course we will address your concerns with the hotel management and hope to resolve the mentioned issues for the future.

We booked in to do the aurora evening after a snow shoeing trip with Arctic Range.

Pick up from the hotel went nice and smoothly, and we were taken out to where their huts were outside of Whitehorse itself. The buildings were nice and warm, and they had a few spotters outside to watch for when the lights came out which meant you didn't have to sit in the cold all night waiting. Our guide helped us with our cameras, and they had a number of tripods that you could use which was great.

Plenty of snacks and warm drinks were available as well, along with bathroom.

We managed to see a small display which was nice, would have been great to see a really strong one, but they can't control the weather or sky.

I’ve paid a trip to see the auroreas today, but the weather is so bad, it’s snowing a lot. I’ve asked for changing the trip to another day but they don’t let you and don’t refound the money. If you book the trip with this company have in mind this.

Thank you very much for your feedback and raising your concerns. We very much value our guest's opinion about our tours and our services. Rest assured that we constantly strive to improve our services where ever possible, from every feedback we receive from our guest. When our tour guide met you at the tour start you ask to cancel the tour since the weather forecast predicted snow fall. Our tour guide mentioned that there is always a chance for the sky to open up during the evening and that's the reason we always run our Aurora Viewing tours. Most of our guest travel from far away to have a chance to see the Aurora Borealis and the last thing we want is for our guest to miss a great Aurora Viewing tour only because the weather forecast didn’t look promising at the tour start. We also pointed out at the time our guide met you that if you cancel the tour we won't be able refund since it's too short notice. You decided to join the Aurora Viewing tour to our AuroraCentre and enjoyed the evening learning about Aurora Photography, making Maple Tuffies and listening to stories of our tour guides. The Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon which can only be predicted to a certain degree. Even though there are several websites predicting the Aurora Borealis level by posting a forecast for the next 3-4 days there is still a certain degree of 'luck' involved to see the Aurora Borealis especially if you only plan one evening. Through our extensive experience of operating Aurora Viewing Tours we arrange our tours according the typically and ideal time in the evening (depending on the season). Those times are listed on our website so that our guest can prepare for our tours accordingly. Without saying, we can sympathise if you feel a little disappointed if you can’t see the Aurora Borealis due to the weather conditions, but we hope you can understand even though we always strive to provide our guest with a magical Aurora Viewing Experience, unfortunately the weather is something we can control. As a standard practice we post our booking terms on our website which you agreed to when you booked our Aurora Viewing Tour.

They work with "guides" not prepared and experienced for tours. We had a car accident and they showed one day after the accident and mentioned it was not their fault even we were traveling with one person from their team.

Many thanks for your much appreciated and valued feedback. We are deeply sorry and do apologize for not having been able to meet your expectations during your visit with us in the Yukon. From the very onset of your tour program, our guide, as per usual, was very flexible and tried to accommodate all of your special requests as customer service is something we all pride ourselves on here at Arctic Range Adventure. That stated, we were all faced with a rather unusual and undesirable situation that eventually ensued which has never previously happened at our company in the past. Once your tour services safely came to a conclusion with us and our guide was officially off the clock, you had inquired with this staff member whether there was a possibility in being provided with a ride to a local store to which you had been provided with a positive response. It was during this time frame that this accident in question took place. By no means are we trying to minimize the impact of this unfortunate incident nor are we trying to focus on the technicalities at hand. As soon as we were able to track down your location and piece together the details of what had happened, we contacted you to ensure your safety, which was of paramount importance to us, was not in jeopardy. We were also in touch with your travel agent thereafter and facilitated the process of assisting with any necessary changes to your remaining Canadian programming to ensure things were handled as conveniently as possible for everyone involved. We thank you very much for your valuable and honest feedback. Please do not hesitate to contact us at anytime should you have further questions or wish to discuss any details in greater length.

We were a family of five that just finished the Wildlife and Hot springs tour. While some people say you can save money by doing it yourself.I disagree,Agatha our guide was full of knowledge about the animals. We would have not spotted the elusive lynx and the arctic foxes if not for her trained eye.We were very happy with her friendly service and glad that We booked with this company. The Yukon wildlife reserve is best done with someone who can provide lots of useful information

She also had to do 2 languages at the same time,Since We were English speakers with a Mexican couple. So she did it in English and Spanish at the same time.Kudos to her

This adventure tour was so well organised I had doubts but was amazed at how professional they were, from collecting us at the airport to hotel drop offs and pickups, supplying all clothing and equipment which was all in excellent condition, to the friendly and excited staff that greeted us each day. Pick up were all on time and everything went as it was supposed to. Thank you all, at Arctic Range Adventures.
