We did not see the Northern Lights on this outing due to overcast sky. Based on the experience of the operator and the tour guide, I suspect they/he had a good idea on not seeing the Northern Lights, so the trip ended-up being a cash-grab. At the pickup point, we should have been warned and given an option to skip and a refund.

We appreciate your feedback and understand your disappointment about not being able to see the Northern Lights during your one-night tour with us. As you might be aware, the Northern Lights are a natural phenomena and it can depend on two main factors to see them: 1. the Northern Lights need to be active 2. the weather needs to be somewhat clear To help our guest to chose the most favourable night to join our tour we have a 'Aurora & Weather Forecast' on our website that shows you the probability and even tells you our advise for the next 3 days. It also happens often that the Northern Lights show during a night that didn't have a great forecast. That's the reason why there is always a chance to see the Northern Lights and we will always run our tour at the scheduled time.

Arctic Range guide Gustavo picked us up from the airport. He was cheerful, helpful and informative. The guides took us to see the Aurora- it was well organised. The guide Raphael was charming, friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to have a great viewing on the first night. Raphael took some great photos on his camera as ours weren’t capturing it. Aki and Gustavo took us to the Wildlife Reserve and the hot springs. They were very well educated on the animals and respected our age and level of fitness and acted accordingly. It was a wonderful experience. The hot springs were amazing. We also had a lovely Japanese lady show us sights around the town. All the guides were brilliant. I can’t recommend them highly enough. The office staff and management were very helpful too This has been a once in a lifetime trip. A bucket list adventure. Well done, guys

As a first timer to see the northern lights they were a lot of things I was not prepared or read up online all they tell you is it should be clear skies, not cloudy and just hope for the best. The coaster picked us up right on time. there’s 24 in the bus it was pretty full we were lucky and we ended up seeing northern lights because it was clear skies in order to be clear skies you must see the stars if you don’t see stars in the sky’s then that’s considered cloudy. In all the pictures you see online it’s because of the camera it’s very hard to see green lights with the naked eye all you will see with the naked eye is a white line that looks like a cloud. So if you don’t bring an SLR camera with you and just your regular phone pretty much you’re not gonna get a good photo of the northern lights. They charge 20$ a photo or buy more than 5 photo for 15$ on a USB they provide. They feed you snack cookie chips and tea coffee hot choco. Smores making in camp fire. Over all we got lucky and saw the lights. Make sure before you book it’s not full moon you want dark skies, go new moon where it’s dark. If cloudy than you won’t see anything good. If your trip is short and all week is cloudy than bad luck for you,
