This is a fun activity for young families. The train is not fast and goes every 30 minutes. Very cheap fees and there is a playground.

I was there this summer and had fun riding the train. It was a short ride as work was being done of the tracks and road bed. There is a lovely area to have a bagged lunch or just play. Kids often have their birthday...More

This is located just outside town and was on our way out so we planned for it to be our afternoon stop but unfortunately it was closed when we arrived. This was disappointing as the tourist season here is so very short that we assumed...More

No interpretive talk, no interpretive signage, still charged for admission, not ready for visitors at all, staff did not appear knowledgeable. Visited many years ago when it was another non profit and it was much better. Would not recommend for adults, kids might enjoy the...More

A fun little ride for the kids if you have the time. This is on my kids top 5 list of things to do in Whitehorse. The little history Museum is also very interesting if you like Yukon history.

There really isn't much at the museum. The kids enjoyed the little train ride, but other than that, it wasn't really worth the stop.

I felt this place had a lot of potential to be so much better. Seems to be built around a 'train ride' behind a little Loki engine that worked in the mines. Other than that there are some displays set up in a somewhat haphazard...More

This museum/outdoor picnic area as well as the little train that runs the perimeter of the property is more geared for children and schools. In fact, the day we were there was a group of children doing outdoor arts and crafts. I forgot how much...More
