I didn't expect to find this lovely piece of art where I did... thank goodness for the kind lady at the Visitor Information Centre who marked this out on the map for us. But well worth the stop as it is beautiful art with a stunning landscape of Whitehorse in front of it.

It is worth the quick drive to see the Whitehorse horse. Be sure to get close to the horse to marvel at how it is constructed.

Make sure that you drive right up to the "Whitehorse" so that you can see the multitude of scrap metal that has been welded together to create this horse. Drive to the road past the Fire hall to access this unclose.

It is amazing what this artist can do with scrap metal. If you're in Whitehorse, this is a must see! While you're there you snap a picture of the 'Welcome to Whitehorse" sign on the other side of the road.

A remarkable work of art. This incredible horse sculpture must be viewed up close to truly appreciate every inch of the creativity that went into constructing this brilliant masterpiece. Plenty of parking available by the Whitehorse Horse.

Nice 'spare parts' sculpture overlooking the entrance to the city. Nice to see what it's made of up close and a great spot for viewing the New Years fireworks!

This was the first place our tour guide brought us to in Yukon and the views here are amazing! We took lots of photos here and it's really interesting to take a closer look at the materials that were used to create the statue.
