The site, as the Sutherland Forest Nursery Station in 1913, was instrumental in helping the early settlers by providing trees and shrubs for shelter belts until the mid-60s. It is now one of the city's most beautiful parks, a National Historic Site, and, in the zoo area, the home of many species of native animals that people rarely get to... More

Great for young children to see some animals. Nothing exotic mostly different deer, bison, elk and birds of prey. Kids were able to feed deer and geese. The wolf, bears and were hot due to the weather. T was an easy walk and lots of shade along trails. Wagons and strollers for rent at the gate.

Even though it was hot out there was lots of shade. Took the train tour to get more info on the animals. Saw all but one animal in the whole zoo. Price great as well for a city activity.

On our visit to Saskatoon taking my husband to my old stomping grounds, the zoo is a must see - has only gotten better.

We had a reunion BBQ in a private garden that was perfect. But before we went to the zoo. My kids never tire of going there. The bears, wolves and bison were out but we didn't get to see the red panda who was hiding from the heat. Great for the whole family.

My visit to the forestry farm park was so very disappointing I would never recommend it to anyone poorly run Canada geese running around everywhere hissing at people they were annoying and the enclosures were overgrown there wasn't any staff around to help or ask questions I would never return

We went here recently and noticed some changes to the layout. I like going here when there's nothing else to do. There are some interesting animals, too many sheep in my opinion, but there are a couple monkeys and red pandas. It was too hot for the animals when we were there so none were out. I think it's worth... More

We come every year to the zoo. The location is beautiful from the gardens to the butterfly house to the zoo itself. It's always a great way to get some exercise and allow the kids to see the animals. There is also a nice playground for the kids to play at. Optional rental wagons and strollers or a guided tour... More
