Just a few blocks from my house is the best view of our city. I love taking walks down there every day. We have many amenities along Meewasin Valley such as restaurants hotels with the best views. Don't forget my favorite stop at the double decker ice cream bus.

Great view of the river, bridges, trees. Ample seating, playgrounds, sculpture and art works. Very quiet and peaceful walk. Recommended when you're visiting Saskatoon.

Found this trail on tripadvisor and really enjoyed our walk. Started near the Farmers Market, took a break to go into the old downtown area, then went on for about another hour before we turned and went back. Gave us a good view of the river and something to look at besides houses when we walked after a car ride.

We thought we were going to the movies the other night. We had already bought our popcorn when we discovered that the only feature we wanted to see was scrubbed for the evening due to a technical problem. What to do now? The solution was to take our popcorn to Meewasin Valley Park and eat it there. We may have... More

Thank you for your review! It's so nice to hear that kind of praise from residents as well as visitors. Often we take for granted the gem that we have right here in our back yard, but there's always a different perspective that can make us appreciate how lucky we are in Saskatoon to have a spectacular natural area that... There is a beautiful paved path along the river, going by the old Bessie hotel, and carries in for quite a few kilometers. This trail is on both sides of the river. Highly recommended for stress relief or a quiet nature walk or just exercise.

Fine trail along both sides of the river. Cyclists, walkers, and runners. River is just not that scenic in comparison to other places we've been. Sorry, Saskatoon.

Thank you for your review! We're sorry to hear you didn't fully enjoy the scenery along the Meewasin Trail inside city limits. The Meewasin Valley offers 60 km of trails, open year round, running through beautiful, sunny Saskatoon. Trails run on both side of the South Saskatchewan river, through conservation areas and beautiful parks. Stroll, run, cycle and cross country ski along the path. It offers many treks for leisure and exercise.

Thank you for your review! One of Meewasin's proudest accomplishments is the development of Wanuskewin Heritage Park. The Park was opened in 1993 with the help of various groups and all levels of local government. Their Visitor Centre is the gateway to the incredibly beautiful unspoiled natural prairie landscape with 360 acres of scenic trails, interpretive sites, archeological digs, fauna,... More
