Although this venue is small, it packs quite a bit in about the history of the Ukrainians in Sask. and the prairies. Wonderful paintings depict the life.on the prairies and there are great examples of culture in their carving, clothes embroidery, music, etc. . The person at the front desk was very informative and welcoming. There is a small store... More

I enjoyed learning about the early Ukrainian settlers. There is also a beautiful art exhibit featuring William Kurkek's work

This small quaint museum in the heart of Saskatoon covering the history of Ukrainian immigrants in Canada. The museum touched on traditional clothing, cultural practices and their new lives on the prairie. The museum also hosts an art section from a Ukrainian-Canadian artist and a temporary exhibition hall.

A nice collection of Ukrainian culture and history. An easy, quiet environment to spend an hour or so. Had walked by many times, but finally had a chance to go inside and it was very nice.

A fundamental factor in the development of the Prairie provinces was immigration. The Ukrainians played a prominent role in this and the museum does a good job in presenting this history. It is a culture that had been additive to Canada for 120 years. The tour includes a couple of traditional & contemporary art displays. Well worth the $6 &... More

If you enjoy smaller museums that work hard to tell a story, then include this museum on your visit to Saskatoon. The displays tell the story of a pioneer generation of Ukrainian Canadians. I always enjoy the rotating art displays in the first gallery area. The museum gift shop is a place I always leave a book or gift for... More

This is one place that I will always want to go if there is an opportunity. The museum speak so loud of culture, customs and tradition. Their exhibits show hoe delicate they value little things. The handicraft, the icons, the Easter eggs designed intricately as if very tiny hands made them. I want to go back just to make myself... More

Museum packed full of ukrainian history to present day. One room was dedicated to Chenorbel. This had art pictures and a TV commentary. How sad this happened and so much was covered up and is still affecting people today. The second room was full of the artwork of artist Carl's Kurulak. (Sp?) This was about his life growing up and...
