it's a good place to go provided you are interested in the events and like music. Personally I'm a fan of art and loved it.

A good enough place for a live show, but the movies are nothing special, usually Hollywood arty B level stuff that is already online. The screen is at the back of the stage, so it always feels too far away, except in the front row, where it is too high. The bathrooms are downstairs, and there aren't enough men's facilities... It brings me great joy to review this place. As a proud Saskatoony (and a lover of live Broadway performances), this is by far one of the prides of my beautiful city. I love everything about it from the interior to the live performances to the architecture. It may not be extravagant but it is indeed a gem that has... More

What a beautiful old theatre! In perfect condition with modern chairs and fantastic acoustics!! Saw 2 shows for the fringe and one was a lady who sings vaudeville with vocals to die for! I saw this lady in Edmonton last year and she was even better in this theatre. Amazing what you find when you least expect it! Excellent venue

The Broadway was one of those old theatres destined for the wrecking ball, but local supporters worked together to preserve it and re-purpose it as not only a movie theatre, but a popular small venue (i.e. about 300 seats) for outstanding live performances. It's on Broadway Avenue in Saskatoon, which - mainly because if its proximity to the university, is... More

I'm one of the folks who've run the Broadway for the last 6 years. I wanted to thank anyone who attends the venue for anything-and for their reviews. Good ones spread, poor ones make us better. I'd like you to know-we're community-owned. That doesn't mean we're heavily funded by government (less than 5% of our budget), rather, we're owned by... More

good to have a theatre which plays Bolloywood moview. However, wish the screen was bigger for screening movies. Overall, a good experience.

I go here because they run a lot of movies you would never see anything else - things that are critical successes but not usually box office giants.
