If you enjoy a diverse selection of exhibits that focuses a lot on cultural art this is the place. I was disappointed in the amount of exhibits (only 3) and had hoped for more than mainly prints. It is a large facility and clean, but I felt it was under utilized.

Have seen many art shows here, and new ones arrive all the time. I visit monthly because there is so much to see. There is also a fine gift shop selling very creative pieces made by Saskatchewan artists.

This is a fascinating facility with space for rent. They also cater. The gallery boasts many fine pieces of art, including ones by local artists. The gift shop has unique items for sale, many of which are by local artisans.

The MacKenzie is always interesting to visit because the art shows change fairly often...there is also a great little theatre where cultural productions are staged...and a gift shop featuring many Saskatchewan made articles at reasonable prices.

We visit the McKenzie Art Gallery regularly on our trips to Regina and are always delighted with the displays. Such a wide diversity of art for all ages. The area for children to explore their own creativities is wonderful too.

We go through there about once a year or so...loved the Joe Fafard displays and also Wilf Perrault exhibits...it is well layed out...quiet...not too many stairs...lots of parking...near the Provincial Legislative building

I'm not much of an art person, but I did enjoy the vast differences in all of the paintings. There are temporary exhibits that change yearly. I am glad to have visited as it inspired my inner artist. It gave me a new appreciation for art and different techniques of painting. Art camps available for children, and the centre is... More

We had a great visit to the gallery this spring. The art was diverse and well curated. We came to see the group of seven collection and were not disappointed.

While not a huge gallery, there wAs a large displayof the works of the Group of Seven.there was also an impressive collection of art from the students of the university of Regina. The gift shop was also filled with I testing pieces of pottery and hand made jewellery.

This is a small museum but has some interesting exhibitions. I go depending upon what they are showing when. Set in a GREAT location in Wascana Park - in an interesting building (it is only one part of it) - the Tommy Douglas Building. Combine your visit with a walk in the park - or to the nearby Legislative Building... More
