I'm not much of an art person, but I did enjoy the vast differences in all of the paintings. There are temporary exhibits that change yearly. I am glad to have visited as it inspired my inner artist. It gave me a new appreciation for art and different techniques of painting. Art camps available for children, and the centre is... More

We had a great visit to the gallery this spring. The art was diverse and well curated. We came to see the group of seven collection and were not disappointed.

While not a huge gallery, there wAs a large displayof the works of the Group of Seven.there was also an impressive collection of art from the students of the university of Regina. The gift shop was also filled with I testing pieces of pottery and hand made jewellery.

This is a small museum but has some interesting exhibitions. I go depending upon what they are showing when. Set in a GREAT location in Wascana Park - in an interesting building (it is only one part of it) - the Tommy Douglas Building. Combine your visit with a walk in the park - or to the nearby Legislative Building... More

I recently saw the Group of Seven exhibit at the gallery and enjoyed it very much. The Gallery itself is well planned and easy to find your way around in. There is a bit of an issue with noisy kids in nearby rooms taking classes and running around. I find the gallery shop disappointing. Despite there being a Group of... More

First time I visited the place and I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed that I have to come back and see those arts again. I will never get tired looking at them. And everyone is very friendly.

This art gallery a variety of art forms. The last one was composed of soapstone carvings by northern natives, oil paintings by various artists, in one part of the gallery from a private collection. Another section held art owned by the gallery itself. The exhibits change from time to time so it is best to inquire before attending. The price... More

Really nice gallery tucked beside Wascana lake. The gallery supports local artists and has very friendly staff. Really nice gift shop, could spend lots of money in there!

This was just ok for me. I haven't been to many galleries so comparisons are few, but this is no Winnipeg art gallery. More just a revolving collection of works. Some gorgeous artifacts, but none of the art grabbed me. Perhaps wrong time personally to go. Enjoyed the museum a lot more. ALSO allowing annoying kids to disrepect the adult feel... More
