You can walk all around the lake. It was very nice scenery. There were walking paths all around and lots of green space.

It is hard to separate out the park qua park from the various attraction around Wascana lake. And maybe that is the point. As a park yes it is a large, pleasant urban park. A walk around the lake would be quite a hike. But...More

We have been going to the park for many years and it is never a disappointment. Just get a bag of charcoal and some lighter fluid and all the hotdogs, hamburgers and picnic supplies. There are barbecues and picnic tables scattered along the north side...More

very few cities in the world have a park like this in terms of sizing, walking trails, geese nearby, etc.

Huge city park. Very good for running or walking. Heading East is my favorite. Lesser people and can still enjoy the lake.

Great city Centre Park that is easy to access and offers many walking paths. We stopped at the legislature for a tour but arrived too late for the last tour at 4:30.

So peaceful and great for taking the mind off work! Windy so make sure to take a scarf or something but well worth it.

Okay, the Canada geese are messy, but everything else about this park is great. I prefer Stanley Park and Beacon Hill Park, but Wascana Centre Park is right up there. We walked around the lake and admired the varying views of the Legislative Building. We...More

Yes. I see many people rollerblading on the trails and walkways around the Lake. I don't believe there are any restrictions, so you should be able to rollerblade where ever you want.

You absolutely can rollerblade. Be care full of some potholes and ruts that will eat the tiny wheels. They’re mainly to the south and east of the lake. There’s also a few gravel trails near the boat docks.
