The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have been an integral part of Canada's historical and cultural landscape since 1873, helping to form and protect our great nation, and playing a significant role in creating the Canadian identity. Situated on the doorstep of RCMP Academy, "Depot" Division in Regina, Saskatchewan, where Mounties have trained since 1885, the RCMP Heritage Centre is appropriately located where the tradition begins. The Centre brings to life the incredible story of the RCMP and its role in the development of Canada using state of the art exhibits, multimedia technologies, and engaging programming and tours.

Really enjoyed the exhibits. We learned a lot about the history of the RCMP. Our teen also really enjoyed the exhibits but wouldnt recommend for really little children that dont have the attention span for reading the explanations behind the displays. Would like to go back when we have the time to do the guided depot tour. Would suggest allowing... More

I came to this attraction after watching my buddy graduate from Depot. This is one of the best museums that I have ever seen. Lots of history if you're into that kind of thing. The staff working there were also really good. The price to attend the museum is very reasonable. I would come back and recommend others come here.... More

Have been to the grounds for the RCMP Training Academy many times over the years with family and friends and have always been impressed with the feeling of pride and history when I walk on these grounds. The daily Sgt. Majors Parade is a must for locals and visitors alike or time your visit for the Sunset Ceremony (summer months... More

We went, sat through the movie which really shows what the cadets endure to make it through training camp. The we did the golf cart tour around the base then watched the cadet parade in the square, the marching band and inspection took place in the square. We stopped and were able to enter the church it was very special... More

Very educational trip. The displays are awesome and informative. A well done police musuem, and a great cafe/gift shop. Go on Tuesdays to see the Sunset Ceremony. My only beef is that I was overcharged for an extra admission and not refunded it. Double check your admission fee when paying.

We enjoyed very much the displays but we loved the "virtual reality" musical rides: you wear a helmet that makes you feel you are riding the horse! We also loved the available uniforms to wear for pictures and a bit of merriment. We had great fun and I was proud to show all this to my friends from abroad. Highly... More

Lots of history of one of Canada's greatest treasures - the RCMP. The displays and galleries are impressive, and the film Courage in Red is a great visual. Very eye opening into what it's like to be a cadet. The highlight of my visit was the shuttle tour with the Sergeant Major's Parade. I got to see some Red Serge,... More

I attended a history conference event here. The museum is very well thought out. Two must do things: the virtual reality horse ride using occulus device, and the Sergeant Major's parade of cadets. Ask your tour guide about the variety of uniforms visible on the cadets.
