The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have been an integral part of Canada's historical and cultural landscape since 1873, helping to form and protect our great nation, and playing a significant role in creating the Canadian identity. Situated on the doorstep of RCMP Academy, "Depot" Division in Regina, Saskatchewan, where Mounties have trained since 1885, the RCMP Heritage Centre is appropriately located where the tradition begins. The Centre brings to life the incredible story of the RCMP and its role in the development of Canada using state of the art exhibits, multimedia technologies, and engaging programming and tours.

I did have the luxury of visiting the old museum by the chapel. Then progress came along and built the majestic building you see now. Unfortunately the size and quality of the exhibits did not follow. I think you go to a museum to see original artifacts and collectables. There are far too many audio displays featuring an artists rendering... More

You could feel the discipline in the air when we toured Depot training facility. Really cool place to see. The museum had lots of things to touch and see which is important. Not a big museum but it was only $12 to get in and that gets you a tour of depot Aswell so really good value.

Anyone with an interest or curiosity about the red uniforms on horse from the movies or publicity should spend a couple of hours here. Take the short tour of the grounds, play detective in one of the exhibits, enjoy the children trying on uniforms in their size, it is well worth the time to stop here. Easy to find and... More

Second time I have been to this museum, but the first time I have watched the parade. Lucky to have seen the Graduation Parade this visit. For someone from the states, this is a great museum to get an understanding of the RCMP, their history and traditions. Don't miss the parade!

We got to the museum with just and hour to see everything. The nice staff member gave us a 50% discount for coming late. Great displays highlight the history of the force in Canada. We missed the tour of training grounds but we plan to go back and take our time. This is the best attraction in regina

Spent a few hours her with my family including the trolley cart tour and Sergeant Major's Parade at 1245 and enjoyed it. The museum itself is well laid out with the different numbered sections and has some interesting exhibits. The museum has a wide variety of activities. It contained information about the beginnings of the RCMP all the way up to preserving RCMP traditions. It was great to see innovative displays such as the virtual reality musical ride and the CSI challenge. It also contained a gift shop all housed in a stylish, modern building.
