We stopped at the shrine on a bus tour. The church is pretty and nice. There is an outside walking area with displays. It is very attractive and you are right on the St Lawrence River, which makes it even prettier. What is wonderful for travelers is that they have a cafeteria. They had homemade food for a reasonable price.... More

The stained glass windows are stunningly beautiful! We were there early before the tour busses arrive and it was quiet and peaceful.

Went to walk around on our way from Trois Rivieres to Quebec City and it was amazing to see and learn more about. Very happy we made the stop.

This is a beautiful octagonal-shaped church with interesting architectural features. However, the real beauty is found in walking the grounds and seeing the Rosary Bridge and Old Shrine.

Overlooking the St Lawrence river, this church has a beautiful setting. You don't have to be religious to appreciate the architecture and the magnificent stained glass windows. The church is well maintained and is a place of tranquility. There are a couple of " miracles" associated with the statue of the Virgin Mary one being that she opened her eyes... More

You don't have to be religious to appreciate the beautiful grounds and stations of Christ not to mention the basilica itself. Good size cafeteria and well stocked large gift shop that was a little bit overpriced but some nice pieces if you are into that kind of thing. Sacred statue of Mary who eyes were said to have once glowed.... More

This shrine and the grounds were so interesting. You can spend a pleasant 45 minutes roaming around taking in beautiful religious sculpture as well as historical attractions. If you are in the area, don't miss it.

Quiet and serine the gardens are beautiful. The shrine is something to behold. Even during the winter, the paths are lighted, trees too. It's a wonderful place to take children to see the christmas village at the back of the church. Midnight mass is like the old days.
