Quiet place to relax

Very beautiful site, a nice lake. The shrine is beautiful inside and outside. It is a very quiet place to relax. There's a little chapel too.

If you want to take a walk in this beautiful park you will be in a very beautiful and quiet place ! Instead of pray you can take time alone or with your family. The shrine had everything for you to pass a very nice day . The old church is the best place for your prayer to be made.... More

Not religious but i do like religious architecture. The imposing building only dates back to the mid 50s so not that old really. Outside area pleasant to walk about and views of the river a bonus. Some people mention cheap restaurant; I did not encounter any low prices myself. If it is part of a tour great and on route... More

There is a cafe below the shrine which was exceptionally busy with long queues. However all the staff are volunteers and they work very... More

A must see for everyone even if you're not religious . Took a cab from central Trois-Rivieres for around $16. Overlooking St. Lawrence on a beautiful day I spent time walking through the lovely grounds. The Basilica is beautiful. Stained-glass windows were incredible. Special place to spend some quiet time and reflect.

We stopped at the shrine on a bus tour. The church is pretty and nice. There is an outside walking area with displays. It is very attractive and you are right on the St Lawrence River, which makes it even prettier. What is wonderful for travelers is that they have a cafeteria. They had homemade food for a reasonable price.... More

Very nice building with good stained glass windows. The outside garden is a nice place to walk and you can visit the old chapel. It takes about one hour to visit the building and to walk the grounds.

The stained glass windows are stunningly beautiful! We were there early before the tour busses arrive and it was quiet and peaceful.
