Terrasse Pierre-Dugua-De-Mons is a wide open space from where you can get panoramic views of Old Quebec. It's a lovely place for a walk and a rest but also enjoyment.

This is an awesome place with a great view for free! It gets a little crowded so be patient when getting your perfect picture. Definitely a site to see!

Great spot to relax and take in the view. Great spot to picnic also. A lot of people just relaxing and laying on the lawn. Enjoy.

We decided to check out the views from here after reading about it on TA. As most people have commented the views from here are quite breathing taking irrespective of which season you are in. Currently we are experiencing freezing Artic type temperatures which makes the ice flows on the river quite special a well as the steam from chimneys etc. A great view point it is well worth the visit.

One of my favorite parts of Quebec City for sure. This terrace is also a park, accessed by the Avenue St-Denis. The park lies on the slope of the hill leading up to the Citadel; the terrace sits at the foot of the hill. If you climb the hill (there’s a staircase) to the Citadel, you get a postcard-perfect view of Old Quebec and the river with the Chateau Frontenac front and center. During the warmer months, it’s a great place for a picnic, but the views are great any time of year. I especially like coming hear at dusk to see all the lights of the old city against the night sky, with the buildings lit up in different colors and the boats creeping by in the water below. Take 15 minutes and swing by this park for ideal group photos, selfies, etc.

This provides arguably the best view of Chateau Frontenac, St. Lawrence River and Levis altogether. This little hill was featured in a popular K-Drama (Korean Drama) where main characters are met. You could reach this place from Terrasse Dufferin. Just walk away from Chateau Frontenac toward the hill on Terrasse Dufferin. Then when you see the Stars and Stripes (American Flag) on the right, climb small steps to the building where the flag is. Then pass the building, which is American Consulate, still toward the hill. Building should be on your right. You will see, at the end, one trail in front of you going up the hill and the steep stairs to the right, a bit further down, next to a private property. I will take the trail, but you could go up either way. When you get up there, you would be glad you made the little climbing.

More steps uphill to get up to the park but once you're there you get a great view of the Chateau and the river. Nice place for a picnic but there's not any shade up there.

Lovely terrace with views of Chateau Frontenac and upper town as well as the St Lawrence and Levis. Climb up to the top of the stairs and see part of the fort. The ramparts were being repaired so we could not walk on top to St Louis gate.

The terrace provides one with a really beautiful viewpoint over the lower part of Quebec City and beyond over the mighty St Lawrence Seaway flowing by. The hills beyond provide a lovely background. A flight of stone steps enables visitors to descend to the older lower part of the city.
