This is a very European looking city and with the locals speaking their own French dialect you could easily be in France rather than Canada. Easy to walk around, some nice shops, very safe feel, well worth a visit

We loved our staff in this stunning city full of beautiful buildings, quaint streets and squares. Steep hills so you need to be fit.

Great walking town, just be sure no cruise liners are docked. Lots of places to eat and drink prices are reasonable so enjoy

Can spend a whole day in this area of Quebec, wandering around, admiring the quaint atmosphere, shopping, eating, etc. We found all the people to be extremely friendly and helplful as well.

My wife and I stayed on Ile D'Orleans and it's a pretty rural area. It would be difficult, I think, to see the whole island without a car (though there are places on the island where you can rent bicycles and motorbikes).
