I go to Quebec city 4 times in a year for my boys hockey tournaments. My older son's team always stays in same hotel which is across the street from mall. It's good to pass time if I go by myself. Plenty of restaurants, good stores etc.

Escape the Old (Quebec) and visit the new. This is a great shopping mall about 15-20mins bus ride outside of Old Quebec. I caught the Metrobus (800 or 801) out there. 2-3 levels of shopping and food. It has a Walmart, and for an international traveller, this is a great store.

Laurier Quebec is one of 3 shopping malls connected next to each other. If you are driving it is maybe 10 minutes (local streets) from Old Quebec. I am sure there's a local bus that goes there as well. Very good or shopping, several food courts between the 3 malls for a snack or a meal. Great indoor activity for... More

My wife and I spent the day in old Quebec city, and was hopping to eat at a pub or something along those lines. It was construction holiday, and a Saturday. We spent to hours trying to find a place that was not over packed... We ended up driving back down Laurier to trios brasseurs. Very happy we did. Calamari... More

Stayed at Chateau Laurier and took bus 800 or 801 from Rene Levesque to Laurier Quebec mall for $3.25. Only took 20 mins. There are 2 other malls within walking distance as well.

We saw the brochure in our hotel advertising a free shuttle bus to the mall -- great idea. But when we checked it out with the company we were told the bus has a $5 charge each way per person. Nowhere on the brochure is there mention of any charge (in any of the four languages). So while you might... More

This is the biggest mall in Québec city. Nicely located near the bridges. There are a couple of hôtels near the mall. When you visit Laurier you're also in walking distance from two other malls : Place de la Cité (small mall) and Place Ste-Foy (medium-large mall). There are a ton of shopping to be done in Laurier alone. When... More

Good places to shop. Lots to see. Plenty of places to get a quick bite to eat. Mia's in the mall are interactive. Plenty of parking and it is free. You will see plenty of shops that you are accustomed to in the U.S. Majority of stores take credit cards. When getting something to eat not all locations take credit... More
