This place is extremely beautiful, especially the arboretum part. There are flowers, ponds, ducks, other birds and squirrels. There is also a labyrith made of trees. But avoid at night especially if you are alone. This is not a good area of the town.

Little restaurants and stores. Very local and you may find use for your High School French. Lots of fun.

A nice little park to stroll. You can bike to Momorency fall from there or to Old Quebec. Either way there's a paved bike trail

Visited with my husband in early June which was still considered spring. The lilac trees and a cherry blossoms were very beautiful. We ate lunch near the pond on a hill full of yellow dandelions. (really was quite beautiful). As we sat there, people walked by with their dogs, their children, and even a group of elderly on motor chairs. Everyone was enjoying the park. The park doesn't look well maintained meaning that it seems to lack funding for upkeep of the butterfly exhibit, the tulip were minimal and other flower exhibits could also use a bit of upkeep. Overall, I would highly recommend it to everyone from young to old. The people were all friendly, and it's a great place for lunch in the park. I would advise a Sunday morning, or weekday since the parking may be an issue during other times. There are two entrances to the park and the larger parking lot is near the arboretum. The welcome center is closed on Sundays but the park is open.

Lovely peaceful park to stroll, have a picnic, and see all the beautiful flowers. This park is right along the bike trail, so you can easily take a break from biking to have a siesta.

Domaine des Maizerets is not located very far from downtown Quebec City. It is a beautiful park that features many opportunities for relaxation. I have been for outdoor concerts in the summertime. Winter brings paths for walking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, an ice rink for skating and hills for sliding. There is a stream through the park which is home to many ducks. For some reason, this area attracts many different types of birds. When we visited, a Great Horned Owl was relaxing on a tree branch, much to the excitement of professional and amateur photographers. A must.

We had a great time visiting the Domaine with my husband and in-laws. I loved strolling around looking at the ducks and squirrels.

The butterflies were nice as well. the only ick was that my mother-in-law has a knee problem. She wished the domaine was more accessible to wheel chairs.

I went skying with a girlfriend and there is a wonderful place, very peaceful, with a lot of romantic couples and families. Very nice place to go in the winter but also in the summer.

This is a very nice huge popular park about 5 minutes ride by bike from the city centre. It is the place to view birds with plenty of shade and parking.

We passed by this beautiful park by bicycle on the way back from the Montmorency falls. It is a nice bird watching spot and plenty of greenery. You can spend hours here.
