Nice open area

Great open area where events take place. Good for walk or jog. Close to downtown. Some parking around. In summer there are reenactments of historical events.

A beautiful expanse of green that has an intense history. I may suggest that you take in the museum that is available nearby just off the parking lot. Quebec is rightfully proud of its heritage and it is demonstrated in their detailed museums.

We had a great walk through this attraction on our way back to our apartment from the art museum. The trees are clearly labeled and fun to follow while walking the wide walk ways of the trails.

I really enjoyed walking around the park, especially with knowing its history. My only criticism would be that the snowshoeing tour only offers one tour in English but numerous in French. This seems to be a theme thoughout Quebec City thou.

We walked through and saw some of the Planes on our trip! Great for seeing a little history and adding some light exercise to your trip. Would thoroughly recommend bringing your teens along!

It rained the time we were there and to be honest we were just hoping the tour would end. Much of it took place outside going from building to building and it was pouring. I'm sorry the weather affected my experience so much.

Hard to believe this was a place of a war which defined Canada. The French vs the English. Bloody battle which the English won . Today this is a large, peaceful park with walking paths and picnic areas. There are wonderful views of the St.nLawrence River . A great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

This is a gorgeous (and huge!) park that is very well maintained in all respects. There are lots of little points that are signposted with bits of Quebec's history as well. Can't wait for the snow to return so I can ice-skate here!

Departing from the Chateau Frontenac area, I took lots of photos and walked up the many stairs, taking my time to admire the views before getting to the Plains of Abraham. It was a cold, wet day and its a very large area to walk but there is a sense of the history and of the battle and fighting that... More

This is well worth it either by car or on foot. You get an excellent view of the Saint-Lawrence and a great appreciation of the battle fought on this land.
