Stroll along the pedestrian zone, watch the children jump in and out of the water feature by the Hotel de Ville, figure out where you're going to eat, visit the tourist office, arrange for a tour of the Ch. Frontenac, check out the basilica.

The Upper Town were the politicians and elite and the architecture, churches, wide streets, etc emphasize the difference while still staying true to the Old City feel. Street performers are encouraged here with spaces dedicated just for them and the shops are bigger and the...More

The upper town of Quebec is delightful. A great many interesting shops, cafes etc. You will also find the Notre-Dame of Quebec in this area.

Plenty to do here. Window shop for hours. Stop to take in sidewalk entertainers. See the sights, religious and historic, all within a small walk of each other. Prepare to be amazed and entertained.

The hop on hop off bus tour was quite pricey. I believe it was close to 40 dollars Canadian per/person. We opted to walk and see everything on foot.
