For the best view of Quebec City and the Chateau skyline, catch the ferry to Levis and shoot the sun setting over the city or night lights reflecting on the river. Ferry is cheap and good value.

Arrived by ferry from Levis early evening - short trip across St. Lawrence I see a stunning way to approach the city - whole different perspective to the port and lower city! Great schedule and well priced!

The ferry service was clean and efficient with the magnificent views in both directions. Late at night the new fountains of Levy are dancing plumes of colored water and in the other direction the skyline of Quebec City.

For a small price, you can take the ferry across the river and back. We went at night and the lighted view was the best. This trip gives you a nice perspective of the land area and how it sits on the river.

We traveled with a group of 8. We took the ferry across to Levi in the later afternoon, had dinner at the microbrewery and then came back in the dark. This way we could see the lights of the city in the evening which was spectacular. Would highly recommend this.

A 15 minute crossing on a car ferry offers an excellent view of the old city, the Citadelle and the Chateau Frontenac. The ferry accommodates walkers and cyclists as well. The terminals are clean and modern with restroom facilities. The only drawback is that is nothing much to see or do in Levis so it is really an immediate round... More

We took the ferry this afternoon and found it to be very user friendly! The ride to Levis is very quick - about 10 to 15 minutes and an affordable way to take in another beautiful city within Quebec! Be sure to stop in at the Bonte Divine cafe upon arrival...wonderful coffee and pastries to fuel you up for the... More

As soon as I was seated and made myself comfortable, the trip came to an end. It is 10 minutes maximum. I took the 10:30a.m trip, it was a hot sunny day. The ferry was not totally full and there were many places to sit. We got off at Levis and walked around the park for 10 minutes. Then back... More

Crossing the St. Lawrence on the ferry is a great way to enjoy a view of Quebec City from the water - great for picture taking and a nice break from hiking around the city. We went across on a Sunday and there was lots of room and seats on top and no waiting. The price of the ticket was... More
