These formal gardens are magnificent, always in full bloom and beautiful condition and enjoyable to all but particularly for ornamental gardeners.

As per my previous review about the Plains of Abraham - this small area is a tribute to Joan of Arc, and well worth a visit to sit and relax amongst a range of flowers and shrubs which are well maintained.

Pack a picnic and visit this beautiful area. The statue is just the centerpiece to these wonderful little gardens where you can sit back and relax for a bit.

Go out of your way to find this lovely little garden in plains of Abraham. Once you're sat down and restored your tranquility continue to avenue Cartier to my favorite part of Quebec -- where the locals live, eat and shop.

If you have a couple of hours on a sunny day, grab lunch at the nearby restaurants and relax in this garden. It is tucked in from the main street but worth the walk or drive. There are street parking spots and washrooms right across the street from this park.

The one thing I must say for the Canadians...they really know how to grow flowers and lush gardens. This is a park to sit and enjoy. Carriages go by on a regular basis. Great for people watching. We actually started our walking tour near this park. Public restrooms are on one end.

The statue is in a beautiful garden just off the Grande Allee and is part of the Battlefields Park (Plains of Abraham). A very nice place for a walk and photos. Close to hotels and restaurants.

It is a nice location for a great walk! The flowers and the shade trees around the outer fringes of the statue are worth the visit to this place.
