The historic statue of the French heroine and the beautiful gardens are a wonderful tribute to the soldiers who died here during the battle of the Plains of Abraham. Indeed, it is difficult to contemplate the fact that a little more than 250 years ago,...More

Every garden in this city is so beautifully manicured. I tried to find a single weed, and I couldn't. There was such a mix of different plants too. As a gardener myself, I was very impressed.

The statue is surrounded by a beautiful well maintained flower garden in the plains of Abraham. The statue is large and well made. It reminds me of Rouen, France.

I love seeing any statue commemorating Joan of Arc. This statue is situated in a beautiful long park running parallel with the neighborhood.

Visiting this park was a great way to better understand the history of the area and the many people that helped influence the city (even on a rainy day)

The Joan of Arc garden is a nice sliver of the Battlefields Park a.k.a. Plains of Abraham. I know that the garden is supposed to be a mix of British and French garden styles in some way, but I don’t know much about that sort...More

Joan of Arc flower Park is a beautiful display of flowers and small bushes. The Park is always clean and manicured on a regular basis. You won’t be disappointed.

Well maintained. Even though we saw it from the bus it looked very clean and the grounds around it well manicured.

My husband and I will be traveling to Quebec - Montreal, Quebec City and Tadoussac for a week during the first of June. I would really appreciate some suggestions and feedback on my plans for Quebec City. When we travel, we like to experience the quintessential tourist attractions and historical sites that the place has to offer. I would rather go and do and see while I am traveling and rest when I get back home. Sunday June 3rd Montreal to Quebec City Leave Montreal around lunch...More

Your plans with respect to Quebec City are not overly ambitious as the Old City is quite compact, and very easy to navigate and walk. As for getting there, I am a big fan of the train, Via Rail, very convenient and comfortable, and the station will be close to your hotel. The only drawback, either by bus or train, is that there really isn't any scenery in between the 2 cities to speak ot. Otherwise, opt for comfort and the train. JDP
