the Basilique is beautifull and invites you to meditation and prayer. But if you are a believer you cant miss the opportunity of going through the Saint Door. understand it will be open until Novembet of this year and then closed again for the next 25 years.... memorable experience.

The stop into the Basilica was worth it. With the art, gilt, wood, it was a spectacle. A priest could not wait to tell us all about Francois de Laval and the saint's monument is there. It is a lovely place to stop as a tourist or as a Catholic/spiritual person.

We were lucky enough to by chance hear there's a holy door at this church, so we experienced that (not even being religious, it was worth it).

This is an attractive church. It is mostly just guilded though. We went for Mass, delivered in French with an English welcome. Worth visiting, but certainly in a different class than the Basilica of St. Anne de Beaupre.

There is a fee to go in, but worth the cost. The architecture and details on this Cathedral is truly awe-inspiring. We went for mass and there is no fee to hear mass at the Cathedral. It is just advised to be respectful of the people in prayer. Tourists take photos, but for the sake of the devout, it would... More

We were lucky enough to be there when they were playing the church bells. Talk about ancient music! It is very relaxing walking about the peed and listening to the bells at the same time. Really an amazing church.

We dropped by this church only to catch ourselves in awe! Wow, the architectural design is a great piece of art which will go down the history. Will definitely visit this place again!

On entering the big heavy doors of the cathedral the colour gold has your eyes adjusting to the incredible intensity of light. Such a thing of beauty and reprieve.
