I think perhaps this was significant and worthy of a monument. It was a scheduled conference during World War 2 that was supposed to include 4 leaders. Stalin and the Canadian leader didn’t participate. It ended up being a meeting between just Roosevelt and Churchill.

The Churchill/Roosevelt monument is located on Rue St. Louis right across from the Citadelle. It represents the First Quebec Conference during WW2.

Nothing too spectacular in the sculpture, in fact, it is easy to miss it. It is located near the main fortification gate going into the old town.

These two sculptures are just after Porte Saint-Louis on the left side of the road. Rather unnoticeable if you're not very close to the location. Nothing really amazing about it except that they're sculptures of two famous personalities.

Nothing much to see, and easy to miss, the sculpture commemorates the two leaders meeting in world war two. Good likenesses. Worth 10 minutes if you are passing

Really jus s couple of busts on display to signify a meeting of world leaders during WWII.

Hardly worth a stop.

I suppose the meeting was significant but not much to see.

Interesting tidbit of history that is often forgotten in Canada's telling (perhaps because of Canada's absence).

Near the Porte Saint-Louis and across from the Citadelle is this small space paying homage to two WWII leaders who twice visited Quebec City during WWII. Roosevelt typically looks serene; Churchill, grouchy.

Just inside the battlements of the old town, this modern monument, is the first thing you see on entering, and a fitting monument it is to a meeting that had a tremendous effect on the outcome of WW2.

In Quebec old city just near the Parliament gardens is a very fine bust of Winston Churchill, its well crafted and easily missed as you stroll down Rue Saint Louis , well worth a pit stop.
