We lucked out and visited on the free museum day. And even though the line was long, once you got to the planetarium show about the Milky Way, it was very nice. Comfy recliner seats that make it easy to sit back and enjoy the...More

We were lucky enough to have a worker from the temporarily closed Biodome next door suggest which shows to see. he clearly thought one in the later afternoon was better than others, and the advice did not disappoint. We saw the Aurora Borealis show, and...More

If you like learning about meterorites - this is the place. It’s lacks everything else about space. Last weekend in May is free museum day so it was packed. We waited 1.5hrs to get in only to have a presentation in French so didn’t understand...More

If you like museums I suggest you avoid coming to Montreal for the last weekend in May. The free museum day means everything is absolutely packed. Do you save $15 on the ticket but spend 1-3hrs lining up and miss out on lots of presentations...More

The issue with this place is the price. Overall, it is not an awful experience, although the main show room only has space rocks, the movies where mostly boring except for the star projector at the beginning of the EXO movie. The personnel is friendly...More

In a world class city you would expect more from a planetarium. We were told that shows aren't meant for children under 4, but that we could come in and look at the hands on stuff. The hands on exhibits consist of some puzzle, some...More

Montreal Planetarium is overpriced and content and shows don't relate well to the name. The second largest city in Canada and it should be ashamed to showcase these lame movies and displays related to planets and space. An overpriced disappointment for our kids where we...More

We were expecting the montreal planetarium to be a rich and rewarding experience. Instead, it was $16 to get in for a one room exhibit (that wasn't all that spacey) and two theaters playing french films at the same time. Ideally, you play one english...More
