My wife and I spent New Year's at the Port. We watched as Montreal rang in the new year. It was lots of fun.

This area is best appreciated from the water. You can walk around and see the port, but there are ticket booths right there, so get out on the water.

It's a wonderful place to walk and discover the beauty of Montreal. A lot of activities, good restaurants and places to visit. Just make sure you have at least 3 hours in order to be able to discover great places.

This area has been completely renovated and updated, made into public space with various points of interest to make it a central point of activity, yet without much character. That, I guess, comes from Old Town across the street, which is just fine.

Nice to walk down the river and check out the area Full of old buildings and shopping containers turned into shops, these were closed but could imagine the hustle and bustle in the summer time.

I went with my 5 years old. He did the small ones for children and both the 13 feet tall. It was very fun. He couldn't go on the higher ones but i'm sure a teenager can.
