Moved here in March and noticed hardly anyone says hello and everyone looks grumpy! I asked in a store why? Well the reason was the cold weather! Excuse me,when you are happy inside you smile! I lived in Beverly Hills, in Paris for over 22 years in Florida near Palm Beach and this is the most unfriendly place I have... More

Westmount is easy to see if you have a car. The properties are on the large side, so it would be hard to walk around. Certainly the most beautiful homes in Montreal are in this area, and these homes enjoy amazing views over the city. We loved seeing the Halloween decorations here. Some pretty spectacular ones!

Westmount Park is delightful. It has something for everyone. There is a nice play area for children and a woodsy area to walk around in. there is a lagoon which is pleasant-nice to sit on a nearby bench and read. As well. at the east end there is a splash pad although it does lack much equipment but better than... More

Grew up there. Go back often. Lots to love. But BEWARE that parking for more than four hours gets a hefty ticket. Not that there are any signs on streets saying so. Got stung with a ticket and went to Public Security, where I was told (sheepishly, I thought) that there are signs about the parking rule at the borders... More

Westmount is the predominantly English area of the island of Montreal, though French people have been steadily moving in for the last 20 years or so. It is mostly reisidential, and has some of the most beautiful. Victorian mansions you will see anywhere in Canada. The parks are also spectacularly beautiful and peaceful.

Westmount is actually a gorgeous part of Montreal. It has many boutiques and you will love walking down Green avenue. Westmount is mostly residential with the most beautiful home you will ever see. Nice area to drive in or to sit in a park and enjoy the peaceful place.

I visited Westmount Park and Murray Hill Park, also called St Georges Park. Wonderful for children and adults alike. At the top of Murray Park you can get a wonderful view of the river and south shore area. If you choose to walk further up the hill; from Westmount Avenue, north; past the Boulevard, you eventually get to the Westmount... More

I like Westmount. The park is unique, there are concerts on Sunday during summer, lots of trees, little lake, little waterfall, ducks, bike path, children area, small soccer field... small park with lots of fun stuff. Victoria Village is always attractive, with plenty of stores. You can enjoy a nice walk/window shopping on Sherbrooke. Of course, the snobs will take... More
