Took a while to park, took 45 min to get through security. This park has disappointed me. Always arrive 45 min prior to opening to get through the VERY SLOW security checks I consider this park in a run down condition. Rusty equipment, equipment needs painting, spider webs in enormous amount. They totally forgot to renovate this park. Food is... More

Ever since I was 11 years old, I was one year too young to go on a class trip to La Ronde. Ever since then, I had wanted to go and was finally able to realize that dream after 25 years. I went by myself on a bus trip organized by my local township. I did have lots of fun... More

We bought season's passes last year and do not regret it for one minute. We've been 3 times so far this year. With parking included in our bundle, we never give it a second thought when it's a sunny day. Kids really enjoy the kiddie rides but we are slowly taking them on the more adult rides. Staff is courteous... More

Badly organized entrance queu where we had to wait for a long time just to find out tjat we were in the wrong line. Altthough there was a 200 metre line to buy tickets they only opened 2 counters. The place was crowded from the very opening and lines for many activities were more than 30 minutes. Aesthetics clearly isn't... More

Went to La Ronde with my 10-year old daughter for the day. Finding parking was easy with good signage. We purchased the "fast pass" device which allows you to skip the long lines and go via a special line. This allowed us to go on many more rides than without it and we really maximized our day this way. It... More

We went for the day having bought online tickets the night before (a significant savings). The line to get in at opening was long and slow-moving. They do not allow outside food or beverages in the park, we were thirsty when we got in, however the delivery of water had not yet arrived at the nearest booth, they only sold... More

The place is really great. The Goliath with no gravity. I recommend with the 3D glasses. It's a real good one. It's a great park for all the family with games for all ages. I loved it😊

The rides are fun and there is a good variety of different thrill levels, but the lines are SO long. In a day, don't expect to get in more than 7 - 8 rides (especially if you like roller coasters). The grounds and facilities are disgusting! Trash everywhere, garbage cans overflowing, filthy washrooms with no toilet paper, no custodial maintenance... More

A first class amusement park and easily accessed from the city and surrounding areas. It is however fairly expensive for a day visit, however with the purchase of season passes which include parking, free drinks and refills the average cost drops dramatically. La Ronde has been on the go for many years and some of the older facilities showing it's... More

Staying in Parc Jean-Drapeau

Neighborhood Profile
Parc Jean-Drapeau
The islands of Saint-Helene and Notre-Dame together make up the anchored fabric of Parc Jean-Drapeau. The mostly man-made grounds were built to be the site of the 1967 World's Fair, and the chiefly car-free space still retains its inherited carnival character. A wonderland of foliage and flora awaits at the Jardins des Floralies, with its expanse of pond-marked wetlands making it perfect for hiking, nature walks, and exploration. Old exhibitions still straddle the newest entertainment complexes, including the high-flying roller coasters of La Ronde Amusement Park and the brightly-lit Casino de Montréal. From the springtime on, families crowd the sandy beaches with candy-striped umbrellas, and rowers take to the Olympic Basin, where the spherical American Pavilion and the high brick Tour de Lévis provide an atypical backdrop. A short metro trip carries visitors and locals to this vacationing spot, providing leisure and activity outside of the inner city.
