What can I say... I actually went through the trouble to CREATE an account to let people know how awful this place is. It all started with the one hour lineup out front, but seeing as how this was Halloween weekend, I wasn't that surprised and willing to compromise. When we got to the front gate, we went through the... More

This place was a gong show. The lines to the rides were underwhelming, I hardly rode anything all day all I did was stand in lines. The food was lacking and what was there was gross. The service was terrible, trying to find someone for directions to a bathroom and being ignored and told to look at a map (another... More

Ok so Six Flags are the owners. Well, they suck at it. Went today with the family for the last day of Halloween treats and stuff.. First off, they SELL tickets for their houses of horrors. Cost us 60$ for four people to get in all of the houses. We got into 2!! They oversell these tickets to a point... More

We get there in late october on a horrible day. We buy out ticket in advance, so we were stick with it. So our ticket cost 100$, they charge à parking of 22$. They annonce us that Park will have some station will be close. Ok we attempt it anyway by believing that the Park will give us some extra... More

I finally got to go back to La Ronde after over 10 years, as my friends had a spare ticket for the Halloween Fright Fest. I don't think we were the only ones taking advantage of the season pass promotion as the park was completely packed. The instant we got in we heard Halloween themed music and while pushing through... If you are only coming here once - get the fast pass! Totally worth it! We realized about 2.5 hours in that it was what we needed! And it made our trips from one big rollercoaster to the next with little wait. It was a HOT day so the refillable cups were great. The lineups really weren't terrible (for food... More

I went to La Ronde on a Saturday and it was a bit crowded but still acceptable . I suggest to go as early as possible because for every game you will have to stand in queues so to enjoy as much games as you can try to go early . I went with the family and they had the... More

Being holders of six flags season passes we decided to use the benefit of free entry to La Ronde and attended on a Saturday. Firstly getting there is not perfect as you need to take a bus if you wish to use public transport and that takes time. When we did arrive around 12pm the park was starting to fill... More

This is a place that one would visit every five years and if you are a tourist visiting this city then I would not suggest it at all. People are being exploited with high entry fees and restaurant prices out of proportion. It is not somewhere I would go back to. Montreal is a sadly depressed city in need of... More

It is much better to buy season pass in advance. It may cost the same price as a one day ticket including car parking and some food.

Staying in Parc Jean-Drapeau

Neighborhood Profile
Parc Jean-Drapeau
The islands of Saint-Helene and Notre-Dame together make up the anchored fabric of Parc Jean-Drapeau. The mostly man-made grounds were built to be the site of the 1967 World's Fair, and the chiefly car-free space still retains its inherited carnival character. A wonderland of foliage and flora awaits at the Jardins des Floralies, with its expanse of pond-marked wetlands making it perfect for hiking, nature walks, and exploration. Old exhibitions still straddle the newest entertainment complexes, including the high-flying roller coasters of La Ronde Amusement Park and the brightly-lit Casino de Montréal. From the springtime on, families crowd the sandy beaches with candy-striped umbrellas, and rowers take to the Olympic Basin, where the spherical American Pavilion and the high brick Tour de Lévis provide an atypical backdrop. A short metro trip carries visitors and locals to this vacationing spot, providing leisure and activity outside of the inner city.
