St Joseph’s is one Montreal’s great architectural treasures. The oratory is wonderfully put together inside and out. It’s quite peaceful and has stunning views of the city. It’s not as crowded as other sights and totally worth visiting

It's very impressive situated at the top of the hill. The main chapel is large and tall - not very ornate though. The lower floors include some crypts and exhibits relating to the saints but I wasn't very interested in those.

We had visited Saint Joseph's Ordatory it's so beautiful. Just mesmerized the way its built. It's a amazing place so peaceful. A place of perfect worship.

I don't fully understand what denotes a Basilica, an Oratory or Cathedral, but this is a magnificent religious center and ope to the public.Don't forget to stop in the grotto.
