The spa is absolutely beautifully done, spotlessly clean with big change room and good showers. This is a very quite tranquilizing place with very hot sauna. nice steam room and wonderful hot and cold pools. The relaxation area is wonderfully renovated and we heard from...More

First, I have to explain the 4/5 rating. The only spa that I would rate as a 5 is the Old Roman Baths in Baden-Baden Germany just because of memories, etc. That being said, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a 3 hour interlude in...More

After a 10 day Canadian vacation, we decided on this spa for our last day. Check in was fairly easy, if just a bit confusing. You get a rubber bracelet that locks and unlocks your locker. (leave your shoes in the hallway) They give you...More

There were only adults there when I went. Maybe if they were an older teen, like 16 and up it would be ok. There is no talking in the bath areas so keep that in mind too. And no phones.

Hello my new husband and I will be coming up to Quebec over Christmas and the New Year to celebrate my 40th birthday. We are looking forward to a cozy romantic get away! We live in the desert (Phoenix, Arizona) and haven't seen snow in years. We are foodies, enjoy live music (folk, acoustic, mellow) and love to play in the outdoors. We also love to explore old parts of the city and check out unique boutiques and funky local markets. We love to get a feel of the true heart of the city we are...More

SZo the Loews, excellent hotel, recently renovated and right smack downtown near Party Central on Crescent Street but alos to numerous more cozy bars and pubs. Better than something in Old Montréal at this time of the year. Spas: Scandinave will be more than OK. Europea will be very nice but with a 9 pm dinner you will not have time to go elsewhere for the fireworks, etc. Do they...More

Well a lot of postings isn't it? Difficult not to repeat the answers as I have already writtten in some other posts that you have placed. Ok so here we go anyways! Keep your réservations as you have done them already. So the Fairmont Château Frontenac in Québec City and the Loews in Montréal. Since budget seems to be open I would suggest that indeed you travel between both cities by train and use business class. That is if you are not planning to depart early, at breakfast time. A nice...More
