We set out to visit 150 historic sites in Canada by Canada's 150th Birthday we are almost there. This was a great tick in the box. Not well visited so great quiet day with the family.

This place is an administrative building and only the grounds are accessible to the public. You cannot visit the building itself.

This Historic Site is always a forgotten place to go. It is in a nice spot with lots of beautiful flowers, the building houses offices for Parks Canada.. And a Volunteer bases Parks and People.

Probably the least talked about, but best place to stop and reflect, have lunch/picnic, unwind. Although it is a functioning Parks Canada admin office, the grounds are well worth exploring as it is an intimate surrounding where there are plenty of spaces to eith "cop...More

Its a beautiful spot to take a picnic lunch and find a quiet spot... The landscaping is beautifull. Its a little bit of a walk to get there from downtown, but worth it.
