As part of our "Anna of Green Gable's visit to PEI " we had to see the play! The theater is located on the main street in town. Apparently they allow children in the audience. The people sitting to my left ---had a two-year-old, who...More

I would've rated this show higher had it not been for a couple items that were extremely offensive! As we were coming out of the show August 25th with our 3 DAUGHTERS, at the bottom of the stairs stood this character of a man(don't even...More

The reason we went on the cruise was to stop at PEI so we could attend Anne and Gilbert the Musical. Sadly, poor weather prevented the ships of that day from docking. To add insult to injury, the producer of this show decided we would...More

We went to the matinee and loved it! The music was great, you’ll be humming the tunes for days afterwards. The theatre is very small but intimate and lends itself to a different type of performance. The actors were great in both acting and singing....More

I thought this was going to be cheesy but it was delightful. The set is tiny and initially feels a little amateurish but the actors and the story soon draw you in and you are totally rooting for the protagonists. I may have shed a...More

We loved Anne and Gilbert. The theatre is small, so almost any seat is fine. The actors have excellent voices and are very easy to understand. The play contains both verbal and musical sequences. When it was over, I was shocked it had been going...More

A last minute decision to watch a matinee at the Guild during my last day in Charlottetown. Given that it was last minute, I paid top tier pricing for a front row seat, which brought me very close to the acting space (no stage per...More

I attended Anne & Gilbert with a group of die-hard Anne fans after days of Anne pilgrimage - historic sites, red rock cliffs, and the bustling metropolis of Charlottetown. I was lukewarm on seeing the play, but it won me over. It has the feel...More

Way better than we expected! It was a very fun afternoon. The cast was great, songs were original well scored, and easy to listen to, and the storyline was romantic. Loved this. Go see it- you will love it.

Wonderfully talented cast. Great songs. But had to leave at intermission. Could not take another hour in those seats\chairs! Yikes! What a shame this enjoyable can't find a better venue.

It's was fine for only buying the cheap seats in a very small theater. The actress who played Anne was wonderful, but overall just a local theater production. It's pleasant, but nothing spectacular.
